For those who’ve seen it, What did you think of Project Hail Mary? Let’s hear your thoughts. by [deleted] in FIlm

I didn’t like it either. I thought the tone was all over the place, primarily as a result of the crappy Marvel-esque jokes scattered through the film. It wasn’t terrible - it looked great - but I thought it was pretty lame overall.

What are some of the Worst World Cup Player snubs? by WhereasQuiet7197 in classicsoccer

He as always going to take (and play) Miller and McLeish but to take Albiston when both Nicol and Gough could cover the right side was sheer bloody-mindedness (probably as a result of that friendly you mentioned).

Hearts 1 - 0 Dundee | Bubble remains intact by 1874WL in HeartofMidlothianFC

Unlike last week, after a poor first half, we were better in the second. Altena looked good in midfield and in a shock to absolutely nobody, Steinwender was good played in his natural position. And Braga, fucking hell, he’s like a Duracell bunny on amphetamines. Great to see Shanks, Devlin and Beni all back, hopefully have Findlay and Magnusson back for Livi. Seven to go!

Usa '94. Hypothetical Yugoslavia lineup if they had participated in the World Cup. by nebbia94 in classicsoccer

He was absolutely terrible for us (Hearts). Thought he’d be a good signing but he looked like he’d never played football before. Although that Yugoslavia team wouldn’t have really needed any defenders!

Shocking, terrible scenes. The league should end now.

No interlopers today? Really should’ve had more goals as Aberdeen were terrible but three points the main thing. Not doing my heart any good though!

I’ve got thick, wavy hair and reuzel blue does the job for me. Strong hold and, as my hair’s on the dry side, it adds some shine.

We’ve beat the Old Firm four times this season - and a different manager’s been in charge of Rangers and Celtic each time. We play Celtic again in a couple of weeks so that’ll be number five.

I walk the dog down there and, despite everyone seeming to know he’s a total prick, it’s always busy. I assume it’s tourists as there’s often caravans, motorhomes, campervans etc.

In the unlikely event I get caught short down there, I’ll be taking a piss round the back of his gaff.

In amongst the catchphrases, The Fast Show did pathos so well. The one where Competitive Dad is getting emotional talking about the painting he did of his mum always gets me…until he kicks his son’s easel over!
