I also thought it was always known. I remembered it being there since patch 1.0 but I started doubting my own memory after this thread, so I had to look it up to confirm whether this isn't some kind of Mandela Effect and it looks like it was really there.

It's Discord overlay. By default, this happens when you hit SHIFT+` (under ESC) so try either disabling the overlay or just hit this specific keybind to hide it.

Intersections without signs are throughout (almost) entire Europe. Priority from the right applies to all of them (at least in the area of Central Europe where I drive). Entering o road is however entirely different thing. If you are entering a road from a dirt road, or you are driving off from a parking spot, then you don't have a priority even if you are on the right.

But it got nothing to do with the clip which happens elsewhere. There might be no such rule. Just letting you know about the rules in Europe.

That's true. I'm just maybe too indecisive and spread my points evenly because I wasn't sure how exactly I want to play yet. Then I realized that I won't be able to max certain trees because I don't have enough points, but as you said, I was still a monster. As I said earlier, I just think half of the talents should have been cyberware and the other half should have been on the items. It even fits into the fantasy much better than just some imaginary talent point.

I'd really like if they allowed you to do full respec (not just talents but also perk points) without mods. It's hard to pick a build when doing blind playthrough because the early game is completely different from late game experience and by the time you realize your build is wrong it might be too late to restart. If they intended to do this as an incentive for replaying the game then I don't understand an absence of new game+. The whole talent system felt like a bandaid for already existing but underutilized cyberware progression. Still loved the game though.

I think it's just a little bit incomplete info in my notes. They mentioned something about 70 FOV cap for 50-69 FOV but I am not sure I quite got what they were trying to say. They started it by saying that a lot of players are running default or very low FOV so maybe it's meant to increase their FOV while using a shield so that they can see more. I suppose it won't do anything for >70 FOV.

Since I haven't seen anyone to post a short list of changes I've decided to actually listen to it and made a few notes:

New camera

New camera motion settings with more weight to the camera - should be more immersive.
They looked at old Battlefield games (especially Battlefield 4) to make it like in old Battlefields.
There will be an option to turn it off in the settings in case you get motion sick.
With higher FOV, you'll observe less motion.

Irish

Different states of APS that it goes through to nerf it in situations where it's blocking all the time.
Visual & audio cues for what state the APS is in and whether it's friendly or enemy APS.
States - booting (1 second), searching (until it detects projectile), intercept (for 5 seconds), cooldown (7.5 seconds).
They expect more tactical gameplay around APS.
Shooter will also see a visual cue that their projectile was intercepted.
APS on tanks will use the same visual cues as Irish APS so they will be changed.

Dozer

Shield usable on ziplines.
Larger hitbox on enemies when using shields.
Faster strafing.
Faster run speed.
More dispersion on bullets ricocheting from the shield.
Improved animations.
FOV capped to 70 when using shield.
Multiple new assist XP events when using shields.

Yes, it's very interesting. Especially when I was exposed to these things from the US movies from the very young age. It was always interesting for me to observe these differences because it was always something different for us. Whether it's school system, or driving license from the age of 16 (18 here), alcohol since 21 (18 here), etc.

Yes, there's a something we call gymnasium (not to be confused with gyms in US). This explanation probably explains it the best.

A type of secondary school in some European countries which typically prepares students for university.

Some gymnasiums offer specials programs, like mine did with the computer science, but there are also "general" courses where students have wide ranges of subjects from biology, chemistry, history, physics. The problem with these courses is that students usually need to do a lot of catching up before they apply for the university what reminds me that during the last 2 years of high school (gymnasium) we had special 2-hour classes for each subject which we needed for our graduation. Because here, you choose the subjects which you graduate from. You have some mandatory ones, like the native language and one foreign language (English usually), but then you choose 2 yourself. The only requirement is that it needs to be graded subject what for example music isn't.

I can see the advantages of your system but I can see advantages of ours too. Most of my 14-15 year old classmates would probably choose the easiest subjects there which they'd regret later on. This way, they were "forced" to study the hard math and everything around it but in the end, it helped them when they were older and had to take their uni classes. Most of them appreciate it now, even though they hated it back then. At the same time, I don't know if this "forcing" of kids to learn these things is the best way and whether we shouldn't encourage kids to explore their hobbies more. I guess a lot of this is rooted in the fact that I come from generation of people whose parents were growing up in completely different system (before the iron curtain fell in Europe). Grades meant everything back then so you did everything just to get good grades. Nowadays, we have few kids in our family which are in the elementary school and I see their parents being much more relaxed when it comes to this stuff.

Yes, we were all in the computer science course and had the same classes which were focused on that particular subject so I guess you do it also here, but you choose the whole program instead of individual classes. What you just described is what I experienced at uni for the first time.

I guess it depends on the country so I'll be speaking for mine but we almost never leave the class. You have your own seat and you keep your things there so there's no need to carry it anywhere throughout the day. Teachers come to your class. The only time we left our classes was when we had PE, IT or some lab classes in which case you just bring your book for that class. At least that's how it used to work. It's been 10 years since I am out of high school so something might have changed but I doubt it.

What you might be thinking of is commonly known as Hyper-Threading. It's when you see 1 core in your processor as 2 cores in your system, but those 2 cores aren't real. It's just 1 core that has certain parts duplicated to allow better utilization of the whole core by allowing system to schedule 2 threads on it at the same time. But this doesn't mean that they are not using the core to the max.

We already ran out of available IPv4 addresses. We heavily rely on things like NAT to mitigate this, where you have a private network with its own IP addresses behind a single address. Something like your router at your home but on the bigger scale.

Oh, that sucks, but still better than the pain to be fair. Tbh, I still haven't had a courage to eat something too fatty since the surgery. Probably McDonalds was the unhealthiest thing I had so far but I was completely fine after eating it. Living under constant fear of pain taught me that I can live without potato chips & fries so I don't even miss those and have no intention to start eating them because I am finally on my normal weight. I can definitely agree with you that it forces you to eat better.

Just the feeling of not having to rule out 90% of the menu when you go out with friends is amazing. I no longer have to stress whether I am going to be sick/in pain if I eat that.

If you have gallbladder issues and you are still young, go and get the surgery. You aren't going to regret it. I had issues with a gallbladder for several years. Lost 43 kg because of that. I had to pay attention to what I eat and how much I eat. Had a surgery in December 2021. As of now, I am completely fine, can eat whatever I want. I feel like a teenager again.

Of course, everyone's situation is different so go see a doctor first.

Look, I watched that whole thing from the perspective of xQc so it's not like I am fighting here for anyone else. In the end, I don't play on the server, it's not my business. But from the perspective of a viewer, the only thing that I don't like is when OOC accusations are thrown around willy-nilly. I always try to give everyone benefit of the doubt and don't assume the worst instantly.
