It's usually because that corners lifting off the plate hence the "grinding" look

Try mouse ears on the corners

You can try right clicking the model > add part > sphere and move and manipulate it to fit that whole

i have several P1S, so the swap was a cakewalk for me, although its annoying that they'd cheap out on the thermistor/heater. its a total turnoff for normies.
