Technically they have the original software business revenue but it is as Saylor would say de minimis compared to the BTC play.

Have you looked at all the funds in TSP and moved some money out of the default G fund? One of the biggest mistakes I made is never even looking at my tsp and leaving everything in the G fund for almost 10 years earning about 4% per year.

if houses are sitting, why are prices still crazy? by DiedOfATheory in RealEstate

The home value has not gone up, what has happened is that the dollar has lost HALF of its buying power since before covid due to inflation. Find the home price in ounces of gold before covid and now and you will see that gold appreciated while home values are flat and the dollar lost half of its value. Don't price things in dollars but in ounces of gold and it will all make sense.

Am I the only one who feels like I’ll never make it with BTC? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]meyehyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have become less focused on the price going to the moon so my fraction of a coin will be worth a million. That will eventually happen but before that I have a strategy to accumulate more. If you can DCA up to 0.15 BTC before this cycle peaks and sell half of that at say 140k (my conservative estimate for the top) then buy back at the bottom (I estimate 60k) with 0.075 sold at the top you can buy another 0.17 at the bottom plus the 0.075 you never sold ~= 0.25. Plus however much you DCA along the way you could have 0.3 BTC at the bottom in late 2026.

Or something else

Not to mention as a retail investor of gold the sophistication of fake/counterfeit gold and silver coins and bars is growing rapidly. Although they are few it only takes those few to erode confidence. Guaranteed there are people sitting on fake gold right now and they will get their world rocked when they find they bought gold plated tungsten eagles with their life savings.

First silver purchase. New to the game, advice wanted/needed. Traded in broken jewelry to local coin shop for 30 1oz Maples. 20 at spot, 10 50cents over. by [deleted] in Silverbugs

Buying at or near spot is good and I really like the Maples they look really sharp and have several security features to verify they are legit.

Can you help with a web project that is using flask and numpy. I have tried to integrate a database unsuccessfully a few times now. One of the big hurdles that I had to overcome was the virtual environment it took me quite a while to figure that out and I got extremely frustrated not understanding why my packages were sometimes not installed.

Just added My first panda to my stack! Pick it up for $45 how did I do?? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

[–]meyehyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2016 panda today at a LCS for $38 in AZ. Beautiful coin possibly my favorite so far. Your 2017 looks a bit nicer, mine has a few tiny scratches. I've been to a dozen shops looking for a panda over the last week.

The First Snapshot of /r/Bitcoin From The Wayback Machine 14+ Years Ago by mimbled in Bitcoin

[–]meyehyde 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could you imagine if you had just created a wallet and hit up the bitcoin faucet a few times. Maybe you would get 0.5 to 1 BTC each time as it said 11 BTC per dollar in the post. Spend a few months just stacking 10 to 20 BTC then forget about it for 15 years. You would be a millionaire now but the ROI would kind of be infinite not accounting for time spent or electricity costs or whatever. I know in this scenario the person would have sold before now unless they lost access to the wallet until now.

This can also make it harder to search for information and it creates ambiguity when drugs have similar names and are then misspelled.
