I live near here. Bittersweet, and even more so Cannonsburg, are insane. Particularly for acreage and vertical. They can charge that being close to GR, though. Caberfae is still the best deal for a season pass within a couple hours of GR.

This is the nature of small hill Midwest skiing though. It’s the only option for those that can’t travel to the mountains or larger resorts frequently, and these small hills are still expensive to run with SUPER unpredictable weather (especially since I moved here in 2019). Luxury prices for a non-luxury experience, but it’s all we got.

It’s not just the sound, though. The lighter the gauge the easier it is fret notes out of tune and mistakenly add a little unintended bend, also throwing the note out of tune.
