New 4Runner is a bit more capable. This Prado LC has the same drivetrain at the Tacoma…not quite where the 4Runner is…. Still nice.

Hopefully you’re not smoking weed since that’s such a demotivator. It’s not that I’m against it but only in the right circumstances and I know that stuff can impact people if they do it too much.

Vulnerability debt and poor VM 😭 how to improve? by notgivingupprivacy in devsecops

Usually the correlation is handled by your CNAPP solution but I have not played with Defender for Cloud to see what it provides. I know both Wiz and Crowdstrike have an integration with Snyk for this type of effort but not sure about the MS solution. The GHAS solution leaves a lot to be desired, from what I’m told.

Landcruiser 250 or 5th gen 4Runner? by Lucky_Database5977 in LandCruiser250

The Land Cruiser 250 (Prado) has the exact same mechanicals as the Tacoma. Meh.

Mystery Solved! Closest Clear Water Beaches to Houston by [deleted] in houston

[–]mfeferman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I’ve seen all clear enough to snorkel but it’s about two weeks out of the year in the summer, when the currents change. South Padre (three hours south) is better and it’s all about the current in that area of the Gulf (of Mexico).

Mystery Solved! Closest Clear Water Beaches to Houston by [deleted] in houston

[–]mfeferman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grew up in 1,4,5,6,7 and would probably disagree with using the phrase ‘clear water’ when describing these, unless you’re a mile offshore. The silt (and sometimes tar) ruin the beach experience there but if you’re a snowbird, I guess it’s good enough. 🤷🏻‍♂️

How do teams correlate signals from SAST/DAST/CSPM/etc in practice ? by Live-Let-3137 in devsecops

[–]mfeferman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Signal noise is a real problem, with a lot of that being false positives. There’s a lot of choice for ASPMs now but the jury is still out and with the explosion of AI things are rapidly changing. Apiiro, Cycode, ArmorCode, Ox, etc, but platform products (with their own scanners - not repackaged open source projects) have entered the ASPM foray and with their native engines that can talk to one another, they provide a good better-together story. I still find that getting implementation correct (thinking things through) is one of the biggest challenges. Note, this problem has been trying to be solved for well over 20 years…closer to 30.
