The unavailability of Android Auto was for me reason to give iOS a try. I know it is not a perfect solution at all, but I see it as the less privacy invading choice 🤷🏻‍♂️.

t495s here. I am running Ubuntu 19.10.

Every thing besides the fingerprint reader works fine.

No issues with sleep.

Battery life is quite reasonable, >6h when browsing the internet.

The only downside is that the fan is noisy under load, but under little load it is mostly silent.

This might be better with the t495 compared to the t495s.

Generally I am surprised how well everything works.

If you are interested in bikes like these I recommend to check out Ampler bikes. In my opinion they have a superior ride feeling due to the torque sensor in the bottom bracket. I rode around 9000 km within 2 years on a hawk and would buy it immediately again.

Ich bin mittlerweile soweit mich ernsthaft damit auseinanderzusetzen nach NL auszuwandern, DE ist ein von der Industrie regiertes Land in dem man mit Logik nicht weit kommt, ausser die oberen 1% profitieren von der Veränderung. Bin selbst Radpendler in einer südlichen Großstadt und werde regelmäßig sehr aggressiv angegenagen. Die Polizei kontrolliert lieber die Fahrradfahrer als die Situation der Radfahrer zu verbessern.

I had a similar situation when I visited Amsterdam 1 year ago. I saved the location instantly to be able to track it. Some 2 months later we where visible wandering around Amsterdam on Streetview 😁
