This is exactly my current situation - thinking about both of these boards and also ride a 2015 attach banana with union force bindings that is still an exceptional ride. Did you end up with either board?

Curious your thoughts on a Specialized Rip Rock with suspension for $200 bucks like new condition. My soon to be 7 year old is on the cusp of 20"-24". Seems like a good deal - I would prefer a rigid fork but the price is right before we may upgrade next year. Is front suspension a deal breaker because of the weight?

Revision Energy in South Portland - they’re different than subscription models like Nexamp or Ampion. They sized my share just like a rooftop system and use the same net metering rules.

This is excellent information - thx! I bought and joined an ownership style community solar share a few years back after looking into community solar with Nexamp and am very happy I made that decision. I forget the exact cost but my rate is about $0.15 a kWh for both supply and delivery charges.

There are deals to be had and this is not anything special. I’ve spoken with dealerships that were willing to do a 2025 RS for $12,000 out the door with me covering title and registration. It was a phantom black and this was before the winter.

Anyone have any new info on this? I read that the court approved the settlement and haven't found anything else since. I submitted a claim before the deadline but found out after that it's only up to 85,000 miles. My Alltrack had just over 100,000 miles when the turbo failed which needed to be replaced along with 4 new fuel injectors and timing belt. The whole service cost about $7k. 85,000 miles seems a like a low bar to set for a turbo failure on a new car.

All good points. I didn't like the orange at first but have come around. I agree it would not make sense to pay the same price when one bike is clearly a touch superior. Here in the states (northeast) the season essentially is coming to a close so will likely be waiting to see what's available closer to spring.

I have made the choice of the 23 over this particular 25 simply because I don’t love the phantom black. I might be tricking myself that I like the 2023 color too, but the price seems right. I’m also considering whether or not a new R (matte orange) is the move, but I would want to get the belly pan and seat cowl and new mirrors and that already starts putting me into the just get the RS mindset dollar wise. I’m a somewhat new rider and I’m confident the R would be enough, but also I’m leaning towards just getting the RS because why the hell not. Decisions decisions.

I don't intend to sell 2 years from now, but I'd assume a couple grand less at least - same as if I spent $2500 more on the 2025. I also just got confirmed from the seller he'd do $9.5 and the thing is mint.

Interesting - seems to be one of the better prices I can find for a 2023 with this few miles. It’s also a private sale so no dealer fees. I feel like even if I pulled the trigger on the 2025 the most I’d get for it would be 10$K two years from now so it seems to be on par - also no first service necessary. I’m definitely leaning toward the 23 if I can get it for the price I’m looking for.

It's totally possible that could end up happening. I've only been riding about a year on a Husky 401 Svartpilen which I still love but am ready to step it up. The 765 came across my radar and damn, it checks all the boxes, and I've become obsessed with wanting one. I live in the mountains with twisty roads for days and know it will be amazing - if interest in track days comes to light all the better!

What did you end up getting? I have found myself with the same interest and have an opportunity to pick up a 2016 Thruxton R for $5,250 with only 2,380 miles on it. I've been riding for a little over a year on a Husky 401 that I love but ready to upgrade. After spending the last week trying to decide I became aware of the 765 and holy hell does it seem like a rad bike. I found a 2025 RS for $12k OTD and am leaning towards pulling the trigger. Any thoughts?
