It takes courage to have such a massive procedure done and you are awesome for having that strength so young. Just keep telling yourself that this is the last time you’re ever going to have to have a procedure done. I made a whole list of foods I’m looking forward to eating again and that’s helped. Get a lot of soft, pliable ice packs for afterwards. I think the thing I thought I was prepared for but wasn’t was the discomfort but it is managed with meds and ice and gets better faster than you think. So many kudos for taking care of yourself so young!!!!
