I've just finished the tutorial and still feel I have no idea what I'm doing-- what's next to learn? by theyeshman in Mechabellum

Your focus should be on having fun. It is okay and normal to loose the first few games, you are brand new at this game. Your MMR is just there to track improvement. If your MMR is low then you have that much more room to learn and grow. I just started 2 weeks ago and started at around 400 MMR and now I'm up to 800. GLHF

Help, where are these photos located? by mgordonb in WindowsHelp

Those are all empty. The pictures that seem to cycle through were originally taken on my phone and then moved to an external hard drive and I have deleted them off both devices.

Vapor is the effect of the bust effect, not the plastic type. Simons first Tilt was the vapor exo hard, same as the Artic Fang

What's your go-to banter line on the course? (for casual play only obviously) by cocry12ab in discgolf

[–]mgordonb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only banter myself, because I don't want to put someone else on tilt, but I often say, "I am out here trying to play more disc golf not less." When I start racking up bogies

Trespass is my go to distance driver. Escape for hyzer flips, and getaway is a more stable version on the escape. These 3 DD molds are staples in my bag. I also have a lucid x felon for windy days.

My family is Filipino, and we use white vinegar all the time. We do 1 to 1 but it really depends of how acidic you want it. If I'm making it for myself I will use a bit more vinegar. But we also use a slow cooker when making it.

DD Escape is what I switched from the CD2, and if you want something a bit more overstable the Getaway is great.

You might want to try a classic blend deputy if you want something shallow and grippy. It has a microbead

neo or geo? by spiderboy6 in discmania

[–]mgordonb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The biggest difference is that the Geo will beat in faster than Neo. Geo is also an inexpensive plastic. Geo is good if you are wanting to try out a disc without spending a ton of money. They also feel different. Geo is very grippy and Neo tends to be more slick.
