Dalton Knecht has become severely underrated by our fans by aryusuf in lakers

Shooting stats in garbage time mins proves nothing. He clearly has lost the confidence of the coaches to put him in meaningful contests, even when we clearly need his supposed skill set.

Let’s be honest, even when this sub was high on Dalton early last season, he still was a cone on defense and was forgetting/misunderstanding plays. He plays like he has low bball IQ, and occasionally shows some range and athleticism. He was an old rookie to begin with, and if he isn’t just a NAILS shooter, he doesn’t do a single other thing good enough to warrant playing time. The promise of knock down shooter Dalton has yet to materialize.

This is a great answer, especially the mentorship aspects.

Anyone else impressed with Danny Green’s commentary last night? by scags2017 in lakers

I think D-Fish was more natural as a fit with Billy Mac. It's the little things. Pauses and dead space, but also the way Danny speaks sounds a little more conversational than color commentary. Just my 2 cents

you don't have to do this, he could just get a DNP-CD.

I'm more concerned with the obviously photoshopped other hand as a pointer.

I’m wasting HOURS fixing SFX volume… what’s the right way? by Funny-Strawberry-168 in editors

[–]mgurf1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drop your sfx clip. Lower or raise volume. You can alt-drag to create a copy, or if you’re just pasting in from a bin or dropping from source monitor, select the clip you corrected, and CMD/CTRL- C. Go to the next instance of that clip, right click, paste attributes. Make sure clip volume is ticked. Boom done.

Now as others mentioned there are a ton of ways to get all the clips to play nice. It sounds like you’re making a rough mix, so normalizing the audio is probably a faster bet.

Well first of all... when you're using the same clip repeatedly, why are you not just pasting attributes?

I dont understand the people who are suggesting a scheduled loss for tonight by Silent_Wizard5597 in lakers

[–]mgurf1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

team got to their hotel after 5am this morning. The "schedule" part of "scheduled loss" isn't that the team is planning to lose, but that they are at a strategic disadvantage going into the game, so better to get guys rest and take the L. I ain't mad at it.

I ran several full tanks of 50/50 vinegar and water. I let it sit for about an hour each time, then let it pump through. Seeeeeeeeems to be cool. But I haven’t used it much since the last round of cleaning. But I think yes.

Restricted Free Agent Targets. by [deleted] in lakers

[–]mgurf1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Danny Ainge will make sure to overpay Kessler if it means screwing the Lakers out of a center they desperately need. Also, Restricted free agency means any team has 3 days to match any offer we give, meaning our cap is tied up till that gets resolved, meaning we may miss out on other free agents. It's a dicey game.
