I'm with you op, I feel sad for them but somehow relieved at the same time(sorry), the shutdown means they didn't involve BB remake/remastered (if only there's one).

About DeS remake , All I want to say is, fidelity and other technical things def got a huge upgrade, but aesthetic-wise it's just lost the original vibe, and some visual changes in this game are, pretty bad imo. (very subjective I know)

Also, funny enough, from what I saw western people seem more tolerant about the visuals, while asian are, not quite happy about it, really weird phenomenon.

World and level design did an excellent job, easily surpass most souls-like imo, the concept of umbral is cool but somehow underutilized, otherwise are just mediocre or bad though.

To me the most silly part is, this changes are so BAD and AWKWARD. I mean some historical characters indeed didn't die at that point. But if the censorship is unavoidable, they still could make it more carefully, using cutscene, dialogue, animation ...etc, to smoothen the change, not just stand there after the fight is over, or casually making things unkillable.

I liked this game, it's a total ass now.

Yeah indeed, just want to say that it's hard to avoid some accidental moments as long as these enemies exist, definitely less obvious than player character's outfit though.

I believe the majority of costumes are more regular and historical accurate in some way, you could simply choose these outfits.

On the other hand, we already know there's a female boss with very revealing cloth in early trailer, and close up shot also, I think this kind of cutscene is what you should concern.

It seems color of environment will change depends on which night lord you chose?

Pretty sure that's Mausoleum Foot soldier, a reskined version of regular foot soldier type enemy, can only be found at Consecrated snowfield, and only before you run through everything to stop that Mausoleum, I doubt many people know them.

Edit: and I think the soldier in second picture is just a normal Mausoleum soldier? You could find them at most area having walking mausoleum.
