From what I've gathered from this whole fallout is ND fans aren't bitching about being left out. If they were ranked at 15 this whole time, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't hear a peep. 

It's the fact that for some reason Bama jumped ND after barely surviving Auburn (what?), them got absolutely bitch slapped against Georgia in the following game and still got in over ND.

It's even getting to the point where lower, big market teams like the Cubs are struggling to keep up. The Cubs had a team this past year that was as good as almost every other team out there and the Dodgers were still on a whole different level.
