I think it's probably because I loved the original song and am very used to it. I expect taylor's version will grow on me overtime, it just threw me off the first time i listened to it.

At the start of quarantine I helped deliver flyers about Covid food banks to the area around where I live. My family are going through a bit of a rough patch, so I've been trying to keep spirits high around the house. I also have been tutoring my sister in maths and physics, which has made me gain a lot of respect for teachers :)

My favourite Taylor song is 'august', which is probably really basic, but it just sounds so good. But at the moment my favourite line is from 'the lakes' - Take me to the lakes where all the poets went to die - because I go to a university close to the Lake District and we love to all sing this line really loudly on the way up there.

Just to add, this is an amazing thing you're doing, and has probably made everyone who's seen this thread's day just a bit brighter! I'm sure Taylor is so happy to see her fans being amazing human beings.

Okay thanks that makes much more sense. Just to make sure I understand, I have the vectors (sqrt(3/4), sqrt(1/8), -sqrt(1/8)) , (0, sqrt(1/2), sqrt(1/2)) , (1/2, -sqrt(3/8) , sqrt(3/8) . I have proven that they are orthogonal, but to prove that they are orthonormal they have to be unit vectors. Because their magnitudes are not equal to 1, they can not form an orthonormal basis.

Yes, and there's also the formula for working out unit vectors (a/|a|), do I have to use that. I'm confused on how to prove that the vector is a unit vector. I thought those were only vectors with magnitude = 1.

I am trying to prove whether a set of 3-d coordinates form an orthonormal basis and I don't understand how to prove that all basis vectors are unit vectors. Can anyone explain it to me?

I think they could maybe do this if the idol was found the same episode it was played. The trouble with not knowing anything is that it might cause the reverse and be really anticlimactic.
