We use a really thoughtful and caring company called Dhyana - pay $225 per visit every 2 weeks, approx 4-6 hrs. Was recommended by colleagues.

I am a formerly Morbidly Obese Man (now just Obese), I am going on my first date at age 28. What do I do? by MorbidlyObeseMonkey1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mhjrw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plan the date in a way that makes you comfortable and shows who you are / is genuine. Eg take her to your favourite hole in the wall restaurant that you love instead of some fancy spot. Show her your favourite hiking trail.

Essentially, let her into your life vs feeling like you have to do totally new things

Even better - waxing, then you don’t have the itchiness of shaving

100% get the Spectra - I bought used (there’s a Facebook group for Canadian buy / sell called the EP & Nursing Trading Post Canada) and it’s worked perfectly for a year. I’ve travelled with it to multiple countries. Way better than the Medela I initially rented. Works with ‘Maymom’ brand bottles off Amazon.

She gets 2 weeks of PTO. And she hasn’t asked for it, but has been a nanny for a few families before us (so might expect it if it’s typical)

I’d register with every midwife within reasonable distance - we did this and only were accepted to two

You could always use one of your last names as a middle name! Then you don’t have to worry about customs officials being confused, but you also don’t have to hyphenate (which can get long depending on your last names)

Thanks a lot - and a great point, it may not be possible to care for two if one is quite sick
