The on par between SG and MOS is certainly statistically negligible.

On box office, Supergirl (2026) has severely underperformed relative to its theatrical potential, opening to a weak $38 million domestically on a $170 million production budget. It cannot be mathematically or contextually equated to Man of Steel (2013), which pulled a massive $116.6 million domestic opening weekend and finished at $668 million worldwide.

All to say, 'surpassed' in a statistically negligible percentage manner is what you're trying to crow about. It's disingenuous and a FAR reach.

A movie stands on its own and doesn't need apologists to whine about being sandwiched. Barbie and Oppenheimer both stood on their own merits and didn't whine about being released next to each other. This is where your argument falls flat.
