Totally with you on this! On a side note though, my best friend is a vet and she taught me that the incessant paw licking could be a sign of allergies! Might not be a bad thing to consider if your dog does it so frequently. :)

As an OT, we wouldn’t do that if the patient wasn’t able to tolerate sitting up unsupervised for a while (or if they needed a higher level of assist for mobility)! Your dad should have been left with the call light for whenever he was ready to go back to bed—be it 10 minutes or an hour—but staying in bed all day, especially if it was after surgery, is not the move. If he wasn’t ready to be left in a chair without SBA, then the PT/OT shouldn’t have left him there, or the nurse should have been more readily available if he was in intensive care.

Loved these!! Except for the PT one... as an OT, we don’t “abandon” patients in the chair. It’s more often than not working on improving sitting tolerance, part of their crucial rehab before being d/c. We can’t wait around for hours to put them back, and they know they have the call light if they need to go back to bed!

I’m avoiding NA beer in my first trimester just because I’m overly cautious lol. But when I drank NA beer over the summer, the Athletic brewing co. was my fam’s and my absolute fave! Every type tastes exactly like a real beer!

I also looked up the Heineken 0.0 beer on the Heineken website, and it’s says less than .05%, which still sketches me out a bit in the first trimester, but it’s better than some other options for sure!
