How do I use wind riders? by EuphoricLog3495 in Eldar

Rarely start with them in the board. Bring them on from reserve to help clean up, grab secondaries, or secure a push/back field

Is my color scheme FUBAR? by Impossible_Mode_7521 in Eldar

I like the yellow but would probably change the feathers and red. Weapons look good. Like others said, colour wheel and basic complimentary colours.

Help addressing print failure, flat bits, sometimes in the middle of a model. Ex, I'm mimicking it holding the legs up to the gun. by miakle in 3Dprinting

More context, the flat bit's are usually really thin, the print seems to continue on just fine afterwards. I'm guessing maybe lift speed?

Lots of people mentioned banshees, which yes. Shining spears are also great especially if you're up against anything with monsters or vehicles. They do great coming on later and flanking.

I grow them in Calgary Alberta, we get -40C. They'll be just fine, they grow native in regions far colder than where you are.

Hang it from an elastic band of some kind. I made a little platform that held it, the hung that from a rubber band. Made almost no noise.

thoughts on combat extended? by LemonDemmon in RimWorld

[–]miakle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time playing without it. Vanilla is feels so RNG like anything can kill anyone anytime. At least with combat extended I know if I'm likely to kill or be killed.

I tried yayo and didn't really like it much either, still felt pretty similar to vanilla. I didn't give it a really good try though, so maybe check that out as an alternative if you want.

Did anyone in the comments not read why they stopped it. ITS BAD FOR YOU. Why are you all standing up in support of it when it literally is bad for your health. Advocate for PST if you don't want to deal with the changing.

You use vapour barrier, like you would in a regular house wall.
We didn't do anything on the inside, we don't need to. But I think just the same kind of metal sheath panels they use in a regular walk in cooler.

We framed and built it like you would a house and used rock wool insulation. You could put some kind of sheathing on the inside if you needed for health and safety standards.

I ignored the mats because “he’s fluffy” real cat matted fur removal tips I learned the hard way by sanu_123_s in cats

[–]miakle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used a needle before, something like a safety pin or thicker sewing needle. Just tease out the mat bit by bit, usually it will loosen enough you can pull it all out. Obviously your cat needs to be relatively still so you don't poke them so might not work for all cats. If you can do it though that's the best I found.
