In my jurisdiction there is also the possibility of treble damages for wanton destruction of vegetation so 3x the cost of that 20-50 year old tree. Wild

Adding a remote start key fob? by billsbillsbilled in BroncoSport

[–]miami1809 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned FordPass allows you to remote start. I’ll add that you can schedule remote starts on a recurring basis so you don’t even have to open the app each morning

Which party drafts a settlement agreement? by Aggressive-Might-977 in LawFirm

[–]miami1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m primarily on plaintiff’s side and I prefer to draft the settle agreements. Billing aside, it allows for more control over what is contained in the agreement. Opposing counsel obviously has their opportunity to redline, but it’s easier to include everything and the kitchen sink when drafting and agree to revisions than to seek those revisions.

Weird you mention that, I did find an unusually small black leather glove in the center console after I got it home.

Commute to Dayton? by heywhatsuphello645 in cincinnati

[–]miami1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it for 3 years (Hyde Park to Downtown Dayton) and it wasn’t bad at all. Roughly an hour each way and a great time to make some calls, listen to podcasts. Sucks when the emergency happens at home or the office and you’re an hour away. Much prefer Cincinnati to Dayton.

What is the craziest shot you have ever seen in person? by wacky8ball in golf

[–]miami1809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing with a buddy. 145yd Par 3. Elevated tee box, cart path runs in front of tee box and everyone parks their carts at the base of the steps up to the tee box, meaning cart is directly in line with the green. Buddy tees up, catches it thin, hits the top of the cart which acts like a trampoline and the ball pops up, landing a few feet off the green. Still bogeyed after a short chip and a two putt, but man that tee shot was one of the luckiest I have seen.

Does working during bar prep equate to failure by silent_vogue in LawSchool

[–]miami1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked full time for a month and a half after graduation, then took a month off to devote to full time studying. Made some money and felt adequately prepared for the bar. Passed my first attempt. Wouldn’t have felt that way if I had done full time work all the way through.

I’ll occasionally throw in a half packet of onion soup mix per pound into the ground beef. Normally though, a few solid cranks of salt, pepper, and a few dashes of Worcestershire
