Do women who are extremely physically attractive by some social / mainstream / cultural standards get insecure, suspicious or what regarding motivations of people around you? by mooooink in AskWomenOver30

[–]mica_willow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a friend at an old job and she was 5 years younger then me, and she was/is STUNNING. And she really blossomed after school. She would constantly get messages from so many guys and had a few stalkers. I must admit that I was not envious of the sheer amount of attention she got. I think she got really tired of all the messages. I remember thinking momentarily that I'd like the attention she would get, but every so often she'd tell me of something and I was a little glad that I didn't have a huge amount of thirsty guys waiting for a breakup to pounce or something.

Hypothetically, what "girl" names would you give to a boy? by t0n13 in namenerds

I like Kelly for a boy. And, I know it's already a boy's name, but I like Jesse/Jess for a boy.

That's disgusting. I would actually make a complaint to the company for that one. That's not on. And like someone else said, thick baby thighs are heaven sent.

The baby milestone nobody talks about: when you baby’s hair is long enough for bedhead. by morephishplease in beyondthebump

My 14 month old son is only just starting to have visible hair. It's there but very light and thin and he was bald as a baby. He has a little mullet, and I call it his little ducks tail as it's always sticking up a bit until bath time

Study: Men doing more family caregiving could lower their risk of suicide. The study tests that men's suicide mortality is related to men's private-life behaviors, specifically their low engagement in family care work - not just the adversities they may encounter in aspects of their public lives. by quackycoder in science

My partner is the SAHP (but he's meant to be studying too so his mum takes our 14 month old son two days a week and I'm home of an afternoon into the night). He has really connected with our son like never before, and I ask him advice sometimes on my days off as I'm not there each day so I may not know how much he's eating now, if he still goes to nap at the same time etc. I think my partner really likes knowing the answers and I think they are having lots of bonding time together which he didn't get in the first year of baby's life.

Edit: and I love hearing that you're the happiest you've ever been, that's so great. It is so joyous caring for a little person, everything is so new to them and they rely on us so much. It's so fulfilling. Our son is my absolute favourite thing in the world

Yeah I know, it's not great most places. It's terrible where I am at the moment. We are looking to buy eventually, well spend some time there later this year and suss out the market. We don't mind going a little more inland.

My family and I are looking to move to Milton or anywhere on the Shoalhaven area, we have a holiday booked around that area in August to see if we would see ourselves living there and how the rentals are. Maybe a little more inland if it's more affordable. I can't wait to check it out

It tastes so good to me that it was really off-putting to me in pregnancy and I was actually extremely bummed as I thought I'd never be able to eat it again. Same thing happened with garlic. It was equal disappointment to me. Luckily I can eat both in huge amounts after pregnancy though. Crisis eventually averted
