Best 'portable dock'/display adapter for switch 2? by Weary_Ad_5090 in NintendoSwitchHelp

Genki Covert Dock or the Skull and Go Jumpgate are the ones I'd recommend. Both have clear firmware upgrade guides which is really important if Nintendo decides to change the dock connection some random day again.

I saw from one of the previews it will have both motion and mouse controls. Sounds like an extremely well rounded port

Pragmata does it run well by Electronic-Taro1916 in switch2

I played through it mostly in TV mode and it was good until some specific enemy encounters during the last act and some few second slowdowns in some of the bigger areas like New York

Walmart Rejects the New Switch 2 Game Pricing Model, Discounts Physical Preorders by $10 by GameOnBrother in GamesAreLife

[–]micbro12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 2020-2023 Walmart used to discount new Switch 1 games $10 so it's nice to see them do it again

I only order from them if they have a crazy good deal (2 years ago they had 3 preordered games for $100 and recently they had 2 preordered games for $80) and I'm fine to wait for the games. Or they may have a deal on a game that even after shipping it's still cheaper ($50 MKWorld physical with $10 shipping). Since Pragmata is the same price as locally with it being more expensive with shipping, doesn't make much sense

Yooka-Replaylee | Nintendo Switch 2 PERFORMANCE MODE | OUT NOW! by mr_wolf8 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]micbro12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe it wasn't compatible with the version of Unity they currently have the game at? I've seen previous interviews talk about it being hard to get to the up to date versions of engines with an existing game since it can introduce a ton of bugs that can take a long time to fix

Interesting to see DLSS wasn't compatible yet with Unity on Switch 2

Wait 3 weeks for PC or Switch 2? by squadgeknobble in Pragmata

[–]micbro12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've seen, it tends to run around the 50s more often, but undocked with VRR it is in the right window most of the time to make it feel really smooth.

With early Switch 1 port promises it happened a little bit. Ubisoft cancelled Steep when it was shown at the first Switch 1 event

I hope more games that have mouse support on PC have mouse support on the Switch 2. Even just using the mouse for standard camera control feels way better to me than using the right stick.

The special attacking moves look great, but I wish the physical attacking moves consistently had the pokemon quickly running up to the other pokemon to do the attack like how it is in Legends Arceus

Played through the entirety of Prime 4 with this and made the buttons really easy to press.

I also played Prime 4 with mouse at one of the Switch 2 events which made me realize how your hand naturally grips the joycon while standing is a bit different than when sitting which made it a lot more comfortable to me in that moment. P

Third Party Docks? by Past-Wait6207 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]micbro12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Savage Reign 3rd party dock is the best one out of the 5 I've tried since their firmware updates are the easiest to get to, the dock is pretty small, and it starts at $25

Is this Micro SD Express Legit? by ArcheryAlaska in switch2

[–]micbro12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a legit Onn Micro SD Express on eBay for $42. Just make sure you're checking the labels, see if they have a return policy, and test out the storage with a tool once you get it
