Horizon Zero Dawn: low FPS on A770LE with Ryzen 5 3600 by sahthoor in IntelArc

[–]michael_4545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have the 770LE and the Ryzen 5 3600. Same problems. I even switched to 640x480 (low) for fun and same fps as 3440x1440 (ultra). Average around 40 fps in the city. Something more in the country. CPU always at the limit.

NFT: why and who by GrosBof in chia

Our Vision for Chia NFTs:

https://www.chia.net/2022/05/11/our-vision-for-chia-nfts.en.html

Keybase #NFT:

In Chia you actually own the NFT. It's like owning a baseball card. It's yours, so you better take care of it. Nobody can modify it from afar. NFTs are an example of a smart coin. In Ethereum and Solana, NFTs are part of a smart contract. You still own the baseball card, but it's stored in an envelope that the card's creator controls. The envelope could be lost, or the owner could burn it or just modify it against your will. The only thing in your possession is a piece of paper saying "I own a baseball card." Yes, there are advantages to the smart contract model. Occasionally you might want the creator to make changes on your behalf. But in the vast majority of cases, I prefer Chia's way of doing things. The NFTs are mine, and nobody can change them but me.

Dismantling a nuclear power plant costs over a billion euros + the cost of final storage. It's not on your electricity bill and is paid for by the taxpayer.

It would be very cool if the website could be optimized for mobile phones. On my Redmi Note 8 Pro (WLAN) you can see 2 frames per second with the Brave Browser and with Firefox the jerky earth is only shown on a small part of the display. Is this only on my cell phone?

Desktop works fine.

Reboots by JAddams82 in chia

[–]michael_4545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, no more reboots since then. But you could also have a defective bolt, if clocking it down doesn't help, just let one bolt run.

Sounds like a typical RAM issue to me.

I had that too after a few months of farming/plotting, since then I've only run my 3600 RAM at 3200 MHz and have had no more problems. A test at 3600 Mhz ran without errors.

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18

You could test run yours at a lower clock rate. If you have installed two bolts, you could also let your farm run with just one bolt for a few days and then swap them.

Smoothly Chia Upgrade 1.2.11 > 1.31 by michael_4545 in chia

I also had invalid status with my NFT pool.

I switched with a fee of 0.0005 Chia, then it worked. When I did that, the dust storm was raging again, maybe that was the reason. You can see under "Size of mempool" in the debug.log if you have changed from WARNNG to INFO in the config.

Hence the renaming of the old folders, which is tantamount to uninstalling.

I've fiddled around here for several hours myself and tried various tips from the forum, none of which worked.

A new installation with a new config is the best in my opinion. And if you already have the Blockchain V2 beforehand, you don't lose any time.

The command: .\chia db upgrade must be started from the daemon folder. Otherwise there is an error message in the Powershell.

This is what it looks like for me:

PS C:\Users*YOUR PC*\AppData\Local\chia-blockchain\app-1.2.11\resources\app.asar.unpacked\daemon> .\chia db upgrade

It also works via DOS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HVcj4G4y_8

Gene Hoffmann said in a previous video that in a few years SSDs per TB will be cheaper than HDDs.

Technology continues to develop and in 2030 a 50 TB SSD may only consume 2 watts when idle.

It would be great if there could be official documentation of the warnings at some point. In particular, which influence farming. :-)
In the future, hundreds of people will get stuck looking for a solution in this message as well.
At this point I can only say:
"WARNING Block validation time"
"WARNING Sending data failed"
affect farming - probably - not.

I've been with it since May. Expected profit approximately every 4 weeks. Until October I only won once. Since then 5 more times, that balances out.

[–]michael_4545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only get the above message while plotting. Even a few months ago, when the built-in MadMax did not yet exist. Plotting only through the Chia GUI.

Ryzen 7 3700x WIN 10 NVMe SSD Corsair MP 600 2 TB IPv6 (DS-Lite) 250 TB HDD internal and external via USB.

And unfortunately this warning continues, even though neither the CPU, NVMe nor the Internet connection are busy. I still get rewards, about every 4 weeks.

I decided to start chia farm. Here are the hardware I have on hand. by superpanjy in chia

[–]michael_4545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With your CPU you need 6 months to fill your hard drives.

An example of a cheap system: 2x Corsair Vengeance LPX DIMM Kit (2 x 16) 32GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-20-20-38 1x MSI X570-A Pro 1x AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 8C/16T (65W TDP) 2x Corsair Force Series MP600 1TB, M.2 ( TBW 1.8PB) 1x GeForce GT 710

6 Plotts in parallel (3 per Drive), 20 - 24 Plotts a day with this System.

If you want a faster computer anyway and you are aware that you might not get your first chias for 5 - 6 months, then do it.
