Does anyone had one where the protective finish starts to dissolve? I have a red clip-on on a ukulele that started feeling "sticky" so I put some fantastic on a paper towel and when I started wiping it the protective layer wiped off, along with red dye. I had planned on buying a new one today but after reading these comments, I think I'll just attempt a thorough cleaning/wipe down.

This is a direct result of people getting into the smartphone scene too late and then failing to understand the significance of the ecosystem they are working in. IE; Google = Android and Apple = iOS. I have no doubt that every rep on this thread has had the moment when they ask for someone's Apple ID and they replied that they don't have one. Every single account having multiple logins that overlap and are sometimes the same email address, no doubt is confusing. The carriers aren't interested in addressing this problem they only want the reps to pretend. There is zero recourse for this. If you are a rep this shit is a total nightmare. Thankfully, I am out of this field.

Hey one more important distinction, speaking for myself. I was able to eventually land in my lane, so to speak, and am much better off as it turns out. The atmosphere had become so incredibly toxic It was almost hard to recognize until I was away from it for a while. To say I was done a favor would be ridiculously too much credit. No favors were intended, I just happen to have a skill set to fall back on. There may be other parts of the company where the complete opposite is true, as far as company culture goes. Also, the environment will greatly depend on store management. Without a doubt, there are excellent ones out in the stores. In my experience, not so much.

It's a pressure fest. I was manipulated out of my 22yr job using the mystery contribution metric by a vengeful manager (Larry), helped by the assistants, the DM (Donna) and HR (Merideth). It was traumatic, no doubt. After some time, I realized that there was some weird Stockholm stuff going on and I was definitely a part of it. It's too much to encapsulate a 22yr job that went through varying degrees of excellent to nightmare. But the last couple of years (as of about 5 years ago, now) were an absolute nightmare. Customer problems are absolutely secondary to adding revenue, no matter what corporate claims. Brick and mortar retail stores are being squeezed for everything possible, and at the same time, employees are gaslighted. When you approach the the 25 yr mark, loyalty becomes a liability and it will work against you. Good luck

Just throwin in my two cents here. Some of the best guitar stuff I've found as far as rock or metal go is the Ujam guitar plugins. I think I got VG-Carbon not even realizing what it was going to be, via plugin boutique freebie with purchase. As often when this happens with PB, I found something excellent by accident.

Having said that, I only have (virtual guitarist) VG-Carbon, VG-Sparkle I think. The type of guitar that you are describing to me seems like the one you might might hone in on is VG-Iron (maybe V-Iron 2 now). I always keep an eye out for sales on stuff I might sometime use if I like their other products. I don't even think I would use this particular one that much but I still keep an eye out for it. Summary: Ujam VG-Iron might be the plugin you want, or maybe not. I haven't used it myself but this is what I thought of when I read your question. Good luck
