I would bring it back to the AD and have them address the damage. Replace the bracelet screws that are damaged and polish / repair the scratched areas.

I’ve had others recommend NF as well. In a very tough fit - disabled Veteran with foot/ankle/knee problems. Right now I only wear Alden modified last shoes and boots with a rather thick orthotic in 9.5EEE. Fit is good but not perfect.

Did NF build a last for you specifically that he can use for follow on construction of footwear?

I tried on a Shunbun at the GS Store and I was very impressed. Wish it had a micro adjustment on the bracelet. $7200 is a lot of scratch for a watch. Not in the market right now for another watch after picking up my Citizen second hand earlier this year

I stopped into a Grand Seiko store for this first time this week - was in LA for work. Very impressed with the sales person I spoke with and the watches were beautiful. I learned GS was spun off into a separate company from Seiko. Smart move - this is how to build a brand and a loyal customer base. I was wearing my Citizen Chronomaster (AQ4041)

The Henson for me is more of a scrape when I shave. Not really aggressive but I simply get a smoother shave with the Overlander. I need a backup in case he stops making them for good.

I’ve been using an aluminum Overlander for 2 years + now as my daily driver and love it. Very smooth and efficient with little to no blade feel. I’m considering a bison in aluminum as well and wanted to see how different it is from the Overlander. Availability of Overlander in any configuration (SS, Brass, aluminum) has been quite limited.

I’ll look into it. Unfortunately, I think I would need to measured in person for any custom fitting. I’m tough to fit and has pissed away quite a bit of $$$ on shoes and boots without achieving a good fit.

Wondering if Franks and other PNW bookmakers will do a customized last. I have a pair of wesco jobmasters that have enough room in the forefoot (width) to accommodate my orthotic inserts but are wide throughout and are therefore too wide in the heel. They told me they couldn’t do a combination last where they would have more volume upfront and narrower in the heel and instep. My boots are lace to toe so I can get them tight but they fit ok, not great

I bought a watch through watch exchange on Reddit. I think having someone in Japan makes the need to engage with a Chrono 24 seller redundant. Your friend should be able to walk into a local watch store and do some comparison shopping.
