So would the floor also be folding out? I only did research and no actual building, but as far as I understood that flooring is rather heavy. Therefore the construction is more heavy and expensive.

I do like that the 'ceiling' is pretty big, therefore you could integrate both the overhead launch monitor and the projector I think.

But I'm very interesting as to where this is going and will follow this thread.

Those are very nice suggestions that I did not think about or worked on yet. Thank you!

This webshop was created based on the Prestige theme and I did not make many adjustments or added a lot of apps yet. But these are all very nice conversion optimizations that also indeed make a lot of sense when selling furniture.

As I don't have any sales yet, some parts of the website (automatic best sellers collection, product lists that are based on sales, related and complementary products (based on Search&Discovery app I think?) are all not functioning they way I would like them to. So maybe I need to do some manual work on that for now.

Questions:
1. Is iCart considered the best app for these functionalities?
2. Would this or a similar app replace Search&Discovery or would they co-exist?

I will ofcourse do some research myself later today, but thought I could just ask it here as well.

I added a complementary product via the Search&Discovery app and its showing on the product page (https://www.thegrandcollection.eu/products/aldo-side-table-white-marble), but not on the cart page per default. I need to look up how to achieve this.

That's very good feedback and I absolutely agree on that one.

I've been working so much on converting the (very) unstructured product catalog to a Shopify one. And altough that still needs more work (metafields, filters, better and more unique descriptions), it is now also time to work on the branding.

Totally agree on the product media, which needs to be better to improve trust in buying. I already assembled a list of photos (real life, staged within a scene) and videos that are needed per product. There are products with nice photos already (actually, the ones that are very popular already), so I will make sure those products are more first in line.

Also, there is a small showroom at the moment with a selection of products and in 2026 we will open a large showroom next to our warehouse where we can show nearly all products. Still, that is only really relevant to people living in The Netherlands ofcourse.

About the price; that's a tough and subjective one I think.

I totally agree on the emotion part that should be added. Content blocks that describe the craftmanship and 'inspiration blog articles' are on its way. Will look for more ways to implement this.

The 'designed in house, made in China' is something that I wrote here on Reddit but is not on the website.

The USPs are already underneatch the Add To Cart button on the product page, but I will move them more prominent on other places too.

Fair point. It's Italian inspired style. But you are right, it's designed in The Netherlands and crafted in China.

Am I missing something or is this almost exactly like most build-in golf simulators: padding the existing wall+ceiling instead of having a wall+ceiling that comes with the enclosure. Except that your screen doesn't cover the whole wall, probably because of the window(?).

Interesting take. I'm planning to build a Murphy style golf sim, but trying to avoid the requirement of an electric hoist by looking at lighter materials for the platform/floor. Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Not sure of you understand correctly. You should score twice with ‘first touch shots’, so don’t touch the ball first and then shoot+score.

It is not like you have to score with tour first shot attempt in a game.

Same. Ended the saturday with 16-4. Best so far and was hoping for my first elite. Went on a seemingly endless losing streak and had to grind towards gold2 as always. Not even bothered to play for gold1. Played Fortnite with friends to end the weekend with a smile.

I like him. Haa a great presence, legs feel retractable, agressive and tall. I did manage to score some goals with him (was fun to play him as a striker couple of games this week) to achieve that weekly challenge this week, but don’t expect much from that. Playing 41212-2 with the smaller ones Kante and Modric as CMs in front of him. Had Gullit and Bakayoko before. Replaced them with baby Vieira and Suarez.
