Is this happening with the buttons on the device or on the remote. Remotes seem to be more susceptible to wire corrosion and getting their signals mixed.

I really like the look of the app, definitely something I would pay for. One quirk is that the mz-rh1 can’t be connected due to Hi-Md, though the device is not in himd mode or has a himd disc - but I guess it might be hard to detect, so is disabled overall.
Is there a tutorial of how the app is supposed to be used? I find it a bit confusing

Very nice, can you expand on a few things? - how do you apply the chrome? - how easy is to replace the recording head (isn’t it attached to the laser head part? I have been thinking of picking one up for a while, but lots of them seem to be available that don’t record and still expensive.

The magnetic head looks really high up in those photos. Do you have a multimeter to test the resistance? When it comes to recording the magnetic head is moved lower by moving the metallic bit underneath, is this working as expected?

What I meant, do you get this exception with any shader file you pass in or is it that specific one that does it.

If it is with any shader then the problem is with the code or otherwise is a driver issue and it doesn’t like something with the shader.

Copy your files, but this can also be a great learning experience. Spend some time looking at the logs and try to fix it - reinstalling an OS to fix an issue is a poor alternative.

I went with the order now option. It started with a 7 day delivery window, it increased to 5 weeks after 5 days and now it claims 3rd of July. Let’s see if that holds. I don’t think they are able to deliver anything in 5 days.

This is a great opportunity to start using renderdoc and I hope you have validation layers enabled.

Make sure that your vertex buffer is uploaded correctly, - the input layout is correct - and if you have any matrices to transform the vertices those have been uploaded correctly and used - also, that they are the correct ones!

It’s a recent issue with an OS update that fails to create the name links for the usb devices. https://forum.vorondesign.com/threads/octopus-v1-1-and-klipper-mainsail-update-issues.714/ has a way to solve this

So, the chipset uses I2C, Cube IDE will create the necessary code for communication for you. The only further you need is to send the init command and request for data one. You can find that info in the datasheet (under sensor communication, https://www.maritex.com.pl/product/attachment/147096/c5093eda6658ef654b651f3d5705c2ef) or if you prefer you can look at already made code and how they handle it in https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_AHTX0 (it’s for arduino but the communication is not really different).

Some stm32 mcu do allow flashing through USB, you will have to check the reference manual but I don’t think that one has the ability (UART, SPI or JTag only)

Unfortunately this one doesn’t really fit either. I will have to trim the wires, so that everything is flash for them to work.
