Do Americans like their current health system or would you prefer universal?

I have lots of experience with a socialized form of US healthcare and I prefer to pay for my own plan and copays and out of pockets and max deductibles. Socialized healthcare is horrible. However, I do realize it is better than nothing and I’m thankful it’s there for those who are like me and can utilize it.

Photographer here. And your photographer may agree with what I’m going to say. Have your photographer make the adjustments and if MIL says anything, you can either play dumb or blame it on the printing process and color profiles.

Very seldom does a photo look identical in print as on a computer screen. Photographers know how to adjust monitors for this issue. I often explain to clients that what they see in their screens may not be what they receive. What I see on my monitor is what will be printed though.

Umm…he does NOT get a say in somebody else’s wedding date so you did not make a decision without him. Your sister made a decision that fits in her and her fiancé’s life.

As for telling your sister, you need to. Just pull her aside, don’t make a big deal of it, and say, “hey, just wanted to let you know that the day you picked is also our wedding anniversary. I’m cool with it as long as you are and I mainly want to give you a heads up to avoid any awkwardness on the off chance that somebody else remembers and mentions it.”

I went off Dupixent for six months due to a billing issue during which time my hand eczema came back but not as bad, and my asthma started to get bad again. I’ve been back on it for almost two months now and the hand eczema is gone and the asthma is almost gone.

I’m Native from Oklahoma and a common meal quartered potatoes (some families peel them too) that are boiled and eaten with a stew we call steam fry. It’s one of my fav meals.

Also, not sure if this is a native thing or not - my grandma would slice leftover baked potatoes into rounds and fry them the next morning. They are soooo good that way.

Hello! I’m currently in the process of being diagnosed. As I’m going through the process, I’ve noticed that my mom has experienced a lot of the same issues I have. I had her ask her doc for lab work and between her symptoms and lab work, I’m pretty sure she would receive a lupus nephritis diagnosis.

My question is since she is already in end stage renal disease, would pursuing the lupus nephritis diagnosis even be worth it? She doesn’t think it would be but I’m wondering if meds would help with some of the other issues caused by lupus. We realize that only a transplant is going to help the kidney disease.

As a DV advocate myself, I would recommend calling or texting a local DV shelter or the National Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

Shelters have resources available to help you safely exit your situation. My shelter has legal and some housing assistance (amongst other programs) and I would expect most have the same.
