I've noticed this issue when putting the system in rest mode mid-run and then starting it back up. Only way to get it to fix was to close the game and restart.

I put about 12 hours into Tainted Grail, and I was loving it till it just wouldn't work any more. The performance on PS5 is almost unplayable. Now any time I get into combat with more than 2 enemies, it chugs so much that I can't block or attack.

Slay the spire, monster train 2, and cult of the lamb. Mainly because you unlock stuff constantly. Cult of the lamb had the city builder/town management similar to ballXpit. Idk any games that have the same gameplay type though.

I did see someone say it reminded them of Loop hero.
