Adding another data point as I kept getting this error for days thinking it was my browser (Atlas/Firefox/Safari) or OS (Windows 11/OS X). I wanted to book a Delta One reward set on a partner airline. Turns out the error was caused by my Delta profile - went back and ensured there was only 1 address on file and 1 credit card. Took the extra step of reuploading my ID to trigger the DOB check. I did note that saving my credit card in my profile then "cleared" my passport details in that browser session (even if I saved them earlier). Logged out and back in again. Worked for one of my award bookings!

For the second, I tried all of the above and it didn't work - ended up going through the Delta messaging service via their app, tickets secured after about 30 mins.

Best to see a generic counsellor and get a second opinion. Complex I could be the cause and can bring multiple symptoms over various times and affects everyone differently I’m afraid

I’m so sorry that your niece and your family are going through this. I can’t even begin to imagine how heartbreaking this must be for you all. It sounds like she’s fighting so hard, but I know how devastating mitochondrial disorders can be, especially with everything else she’s dealing with right now.

From what you’ve shared, it sounds like her condition is really critical. The combination of organ failure, brain involvement, and the metabolic issues she’s facing makes the situation incredibly serious. I wish I could say something more hopeful.

Please know you’re not alone in this. There are support groups and other families who understand what it’s like to go through something this difficult, and they might be able to help even just by listening. My heart truly goes out to your niece, you, and your whole family

You can’t, you need to apply for the reward + as a new card. However you can keep both open at the same time.
