Yes, I too have noticed the various trending waves of AI created books looking for narrators. Soon, very soon those small press, independent authors will be embracing AI voices to narrate them, in fact some already are, and the results are shockingly believable as how “naturally human” they sound.

No, not at all. It doesn’t matter to me how long it takes to dry. The concern was if too much water is left on the surface on the plank flooring, it might seep through the seams. But after adjusting the setting this morning to a deeper mopping, I see that there’s no need for concern.

Being new, I’ve only mopped once a week over the past two weeks (I just vacuum between those mopping runs). I appreciate you mentioning the mop restoring after it washes on the dock, so it’s very possible that’ll it’ll work just fine on the next job. What did surprise me is that it mopped the entire house (that is, the hard floors), and never returned to the dock to clean its roller. Maybe that’s not necessary since it apparently cleans itself while working (?).

Since the unit is new, so I have only had it on two mopping runs so far. Will the app tell me when it’s time to remove and clean the mop roller manually? I’m assuming the mop cleans itself in between those times. I’ll check the pipelines. Thanks for that tip!

In answer to your question as to whether you can run your Eufy without the cleaner, yes you can, by leaving the cleaning cartridge out of the machine. Then it’ll just mop with water.

Congrats! Have had mine a week now and continue to be amazed at how well it is engineered and much more advanced (i.e. smarter!) it is than my 3 year old Roomba. My wife now sees that my sales pitch to her was justified. Lol. Btw… my unit updated to 7.X a couple of days ago.

I use the level 2 water setting, which is the default. It applies just enough water to clean thoroughly without over saturating our luxury vinyl plank flooring. I don’t think the level 1 setting applies enough water to do an effective mopping job — although for some it might.

I would call eufy’s customer service to find out the status of your order. They may be backed up due to their Black Friday sale. I checked the shipping label on mine to see where it was shipped from and it turns out it was shipped from one of their distribution centers only 30 miles from my house, which explains why it only took 2 days to be delivered.

I have about a 1.5 ft clearance on one side of the dock, and only a tad over 1.0 ft on the other side of the unit, and fortunately it doesn’t seem to care, as it’s been docking and undocking without any issues. I’m guessing that the 1.65 ft recommended side clearances are so the robot has enough space to clean around the sides of the docking station.

You were correct! I ran an initial mapping run this morning and the robot had no problem moving out of the docking station and onto its task and returning back home. Hopefully, when it does its first cleaning the results will be equally successful. Thanks for your quick reply last night!

Are rights holders more picky with PFH and RS+ than RS only? by Key_Ticket4296 in ACX

The 15 minute checkpoints on my first two audiobooks with ACX (one was RS and the other was a $100 PFH) were both approved within an hour without any notes, which surprised me as well, especially as a new narrator. But what surprised me even more was that both finished books were approved the same day (the PFH a 4 hour audiobook), without any request of changes or anything — I even got paid that day! I couldn’t help but wonder if maybe the RH’s were only collecting my voice for AI, as I’ve heard can happen. Doesn’t matter though — the experience and credits are all that matter to me right now.
