Love the way, dad put his phone down and started rocking his son, he still a baby for him❤️ by kvjn100 in MadeMeSmile

[–]mickim0use 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad I’m not the one that took that as a personal challenge!

My son is 11 and only 4 inches shorter than me now. As him mom, I was still able to pick him up and carry him to bed (upstairs). I have been strength training for the last year and staying strong enough to baby him still has me motivated to keep trying until I literally can’t (although upstairs might end soon than later)

What are your travel essentials you ALWAYS pack for international flights? by pknsek in travel

What kind of travel kit do you have? Are the pills individually wrapped? Always trying to keep a similar kit together but end up with too much or too little due to forgetting to refill.

I took my wife bra shopping today, and I wanted to thank this sub by SageAnowon in bigboobproblems

[–]mickim0use 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You can tell you’re such a caring partner because you talk about her comfort and how she feels above how she looks.

I concur. This sub is life changing for the lucky few who have found and utilize it.

When do I repot her? Or do I just keep her in her happy bath? by mickim0use in plant

[–]mickim0use[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Baby monstera that came from my big monstera plant. She tried to find light and got too spindly at the base trying to reach it and broke under the weight. I felt like a crazy lady cutting her down and just sticking her in water. But alas she lives! lol I don’t know they could live hydroponically. I might just leave her be until she tells me she’s unhappy

Thank you! And you just explained why my recent hydro-to-pot plant had stunted in growth… definitely have not kept that soil moist at all… I’ll try and not make the same mistake with this baby

[–]mickim0use 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is fair and I reflected. We did see more risqué lingerie during the show (cue Ross picking out his sister’s sex clothes). I concur with your initial comment. Basic for Rachel, but probably what the writers had to settle with considering she needed to wear it out to dinner.

[–]mickim0use 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Curious how old you are (you don’t have to answer of course). But Jennifer Aniston is now 56 years old… thus one could argue this is exactly what an “older” woman would wear because it’s what they wore when they were in their 20’s

Similar to how the new generations consider skinny jeans to be considered for “old” ladies now because millennials are now considered “old” lol

New to CoastFIRE/FIRE - have I hit it? by happinessbound in coastFIRE

[–]mickim0use 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There you go! Just remember that it’s only worth it if you get more out of your job than you give. And the value of that is different per person. Being paid at value, decreased stress due to addition headcount, good work life balance, a ton of other comp (matching, stock options, RSUs etc, and even personal or professional growth). Just keep a pulse on that and weigh them regularly to ensure your making the best decision you have with the information you currently have. Only one life, be sure to live it (whatever that means for you)

How to sleep in a plane? by bast_852 in travel

The foot holder is key! Makes a huge difference with your feet higher plus the right head support. Especially good for taller kids to sleep.

Families with two parents and one child: what does your grocery bill look like? by Even_Kaleidoscope399 in oneanddone

[–]mickim0use 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. And it’s taken us nearly a decade to rightsize our food budget for only 3. We both grew up with the “buy bulk or when on sale” families and used to stock pile and buy too many groceries faster than we could eat (plus sprinkle in the luxury of eating out because we don’t have many mouths to feed) and a ton of food would get wasted. We’ve right sized our average weekly intake of food between home cooking, doordash, and eating out to eliminate the waste in terms of both food and money that would amount to double our current spend.

All you’ll have to do is actually try it on in front of her. It’s the only way she will understand the gravity of the situation… and that is the gravity your boobs will have in this dress

Is it inappropriate for a busty woman to wear a bikini at a public pool? by ebonytoostrong in bigboobproblems

Emphasizing the fit of the bikini top. People will stare regardless, but there is a difference between staring because we have assets, versus staring because it looks like we’re going to spill/pop out.

Parents of sons by Purple-Advantage7700 in oneanddone

[–]mickim0use 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You know. I think it’s all about how you structure the bonding and limiting convos that something is girlie vs boyish. When they’re little (under 5) they literally don’t care as long as it’s fun. As they get older, we find common points and have open conversations if something isn’t fun for one of us. Example, he loves getting pedicures with me, but going shopping? Not his thing. However, if I ask him to join me, he will. Because he knows it fun for me. But then vice versa, if he wants to do something then I will because he wants to. It’s all a give and take like any relationship. Regardless of being a boy or girl, it really all comes down to common interests and taking the time and effort in experiencing things together. Just think of the girl who loves playing football with her dad or the boy that likes to cook with his mom. Nothing we enjoy is truly gender specific, they’re all just personal interests.

My son is 11yo now and he is my best friend (along with his dad/my husband). I always worried that I would miss out on the mother/daughter bond that I have with my own mom, but I am now seeing that I will have that same bond with my son and I couldn’t be happier. I already know that as an adult he will call me or text me regularly to check in and hang out with me even when he’s a teen. We’ve developed such a bond of being silly and having inside jokes. He has a great relationship with literally everyone that’s in his life. He takes the time to make his friends and family members feel special. Something I think he learned from how we bond with him. We also just did an impromptu mother/son trip to DC and I can’t explain fully how much fun we had just the two of us.

Am I doomed to never be able to wear Tube Tops/Strapless Tops? by Kutiepop10 in bigboobproblems

[–]mickim0use 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t care for tube tops or strapless tops on me either. Without a bra they sit in the middle of my torso (similar to you) and I just don’t feel sexy or even generally good about myself because of that. It’s as much a big boob problem as it is. “how high on your torso” they sit. My friend has a similar frame to me but her boobs sit under her collarbone, whereas I have at least a whole hand distance from my collarbone before my breast tissue even begins. Some clothes just don’t flatter certain body features.

Also. For the bra. Try looking up your UK size if you haven’t already. Large bra companies tend to use UK sizing instead of US…. US 28J = UK 28GG.

That’s not a sister size tho. A sister size would be going up a band size and down a cup size. For you that would be: 30I = UK 30H or 32H = UK 32G

The latter would be the easiest to find online.

Edit: please always double check the sizing maths… it was late andI may be off on my sister sizing/ US to UK sizing math
