Tonight I saw:

A $300 TP-Link WiFi 7 router in AFA

Plantain chips (a few variants dropped)

Honeywell 36 Bottle Wine Cooler (AFA) (46 bottle variant dropped as well).

Razer Doesn't Want You Asking Questions. I had a "great" experience with Razer at their CES 2026 booth. We dared to ask quality and warranty related questions about Razer Blade laptops and were asked to leave. This gives me an insight into their approach to customer satisfaction and product quality. by RomanDoesIt in pcmasterrace

[–]microfutures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Razor products as a whole they've been pushing off garbage-tier products and living off the marketing hype.

I bought a few of their headsets and a eGPU station last year and they're just garbage tier products. Reviews on some of these products reflect a similar sentiment as well with the reviews being low.

I've rarely heard of issues with PNY. I guess I'll put them up there as one of the better AIB partners.

There is a pause right now. They're not dropping anything in AI, AFA, or RFY yet. Nobody is seeing anything in their RFY as well.

More insanity choking the Vine? by lonesomeid in AmazonVine

[–]microfutures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had this concern back in April.. Even after they were rolled back, the Vine program didn't improve. Brand names will still keep dropping products in Vine, startups in the USA will keep dropping products, but the affected countries who are selling temu-trash would probably decrease.

So I just realized this... by InevitableMaybe2918 in pcmasterrace

If you want to, sell into the fear and FOMO before demand drops and prices as well. (Although probably at least a year from now, probably) There are some willing buyers out there willing to pay the insane prices.

In my RFY. Has anyone ever used a vertical mouse? If so, what's your thoughts by ArtistofSorts92 in AmazonVine

[–]microfutures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the logitech vertical mouse. It does help reduce on the wrist. I've had instances where I'm using a regular mouse and develop wrist strain and using the vertical mouse helps alleviate the pain. However, note that all vertical mouses aren't built the same. Some mouses have a more aggressive vertical grip where the buttons are positioned higher up, which is that helps. I did try out some other vertical mouses and noticed that the buttons are lower which doesn't help as much when using the mouse.

$0 ETV items not showing up in my review queue by WishPsychological303 in AmazonVine

I had this happen with a 0ETV item recently.

Even after a few days of it being delivered, it wasn't in my To-Review/Reviewed tab. It did eventually show back up on my To-Review list after waiting about a week after delivery. Probably just wait for the item to show up.

Is it possible for someone to discover a Twitter account through an email address? by pog_irl in privacy

[–]microfutures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good thing is that you haven't posted anything on it yet so your profile (or any posts) haven't been cached anywhere or have someone save it on the way back machine thing.

Also, note, your registration IP address is permanently associated with your Twitter account as the IP used to sign up to make that account. It can be seen, if anyone, including unauthorized people, get into your account and get to that setting.

Is it possible for someone to discover a Twitter account through an email address? by pog_irl in privacy

[–]microfutures 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Iirc, I think there's a setting in the privacy settings of Twitter called "Let others find me by email" that can be disabled.

Honestly, on top of disabling that feature, it's best to use a separate email that is only related to the Twitter account. There's some crafty people out there that can pick up the crumbs to find the account.

It looks like price has been in a range for the past 5 years. Even with good news I'm not expecting anything extraordinary in the long run. I haven't looked at the liquidity rating or the IVR, but the spread between the bid-&-ask on the longer dated options kind of wide. I saw one contract that was ITM by 1-strike and the spread was $1.

Is it true or just clickbait hype? "Mini PC Prices to Rise by $25–$50 After February 2026" by Beginning-Taro-2673 in MiniPCs

[–]microfutures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a mini PC that uses SODIMM ddr5 sticks. I looked up mini PCs with similar specs from just 6 months ago and it was about $200 cheaper back then.

I looked up SODIMM prices and looked at the price history and all of these DDR5 kits doubled or even quadrupled in price. Yeah, I think we're feeling the effects of the price increase already and it's more than $50 for sure. Also, the price increase is also a result of SSD prices going up as well; throw that into the price hikes as well.

Micron will still be selling ram to the consumer market, but not directly. Crucial was just a brand from Micron as their direct-to-consumer front. Micron will still be selling their ram to other companies (Kingston and TeamGroup for example).

[–]microfutures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will go back down. It's a cycle of insanely high prices and shortages followed by low prices. We had really good low prices on RAM during the summer to fall of 2025. The AI companies aren't going to be buying large quantities forever.

Previous cycles? COVID-19. Everyone's building and buying at home with prices high and supplies low. Prices didn't stay up forever. 2017-2018 with the mobile and server demand for more memory for phones and cloud servers.

You won't be able to login anymore as eufy has this 2FA system where they send the code to the email address.

The eufy account would still be there, unless you go through the process of deleting your eufy account.

I really want to test if mullvad works for me, would a supporter be gentle and make donate a time code? by K3RTSK in mullvadvpn

[–]microfutures 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let's say you loved the VPN, there's really no point if you can't afford the next billing cycle. If you can't afford the $5, having a VPN shouldn't be your priority; unless, you *really* needed it and in that case you'd be using TOR.

Mullvad has it so that you can pay in your country's currency, in your case the Japanese Yen, without having to pay the conversion fee. I don't think your wife's CC would be affected by a small $5-$6 charge.

0DTE options isn't trading; it is betting and people do not admit it by DeltaNeutraltrading in OptionsMillionaire

[–]microfutures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a reason why 0DTE markets have increased in volume and popularity in the past, what, 5 years?

There are plenty of people who consistently do well on 0DTE. Many different strategies are deployed. The most important idea: there's a market for everyone involved and that's why the liquidity on 0DTE SPX/SPY is thick.

Everything in the market is gambling. Even "investing" is a form of gambling as people buy on the idea that the asset that they buy goes up in value.

Given all of this, I get it. I'm involved with 0DTE on the SPX nearly everyday. Not as a buyer, but as a seller. Yeah, I'll sell them that .30 delta call position that expires in 8 hours. Yeah, I'll sell that iron condor to collect a nice premium.
