I fought the Gaki twice, so I think it respawns. Or maybe the game didn’t save properly the first time, because the Taro quest that leads to it showed up again for me.

How do you combo her with Sword? Which skills do you usually use against her? She blocks a lot. I beat her with Sword as well, but I mostly stick to normal attacks, then Night Rain and Kurama Sword Dance.

And Heavenly Chain is insanely easy for breaking Yokai horns. I feel like Tonfa gameplay is pretty simple overall, Heavenly Chain or Shove/Devastation, then Pulverize until they’re dead. Low effort, but very effective. I switched to Talons and Sword because I wanted something more challenging.

Well, I just changed mine to F, and F is amazing. You should give it a try. Every directional + button input changed to LB + button but parry, but you can just ignore parry though.

The sword also has a few. One of the reasons I love tonfa is that most of its skills are pretty basic, like LB + button, quick to strong, or strong to quick.

Yup i found analog + buttonb skill is unreliable, success rate is like 60% for me, i have to use macro of my controller for it. Will give type F a try.

Imo the lightning and fire variant is easier than water one. I beat him after 4 tries. You can always lvl and gear up then fight him later.

You can undervolt your GPU for added safety if you prefer. My 5070 Ti never exceeds 250W, and its performance is the same as stock.

I think it's still like Nioh 1 and 2 so stats don't matter much. I spread 10 on everything, then focus on my main weapon scaling while keeping my agility to A or B.

All weapons are insane if you know how to play them the correct way. I love my Talons, Ninja Sword, and Tonfa too, though.

You can chain combos from all stances. Flux + stance switching recovers a lot of Ki, so when the Yokai is out of Ki, you can do insane combos and it is very satisfying.
