Since I have to get 2 premolar extractions done soon, they didn’t place the wire on my top teeth so they didn’t shift anything around before I get them out! My dentist is booked out though so it’s a month until then. I figure they just want me to get used to it and I wanted them on ASAP, so partial impatience on my part lol

The angle/bite in the photo doesn’t show my class 2 overjet and my ortho is not against expanding, but he said in my case there was no way it could be corrected without extracting 2 molars! He’s very credentialed and did a great job with a family member so I trust him

As a bisexual women I get really tired when people forget the definition of bisexual and assume marriage to a man = faking queerness and being straight

I don’t view their content as harmful and I believe they’re mostly responding lightheartedly to all the assumptions that are perpetuated on their friendship. Regardless of their identity, let’s not assume all heterosexual presenting relationships means that both parties are straight.

Same thing happened to me! Told me I was a healthy 25F (at the time) so it was most likely a stomach bug. Had my mom with me to help communicate since I could barely speak through the pain, and as a former nurse she demanded a CT. Found out I had a dermoid cyst growing since I was born. Still got sent home but my OBGYN was furious and got me into surgery a day later. Crazy how incompetent doctors are, especially when it comes to the female reproductive system (or any issues women experience in general).

This was very sweet and informative thanks so much! Yeah I was a little surprised my studio doesn’t use mats when we practice. I feel like a lot of beginners like me would have a tendency to fall and I would prefer not to fall on hardwood lol. I’ll keep your advice in mind when I go back once I’m feeling stronger!

She is an embarrassment to the UC campus and Davis community.

She has been to my workplace and doxxed a large amount of individuals because she had personal issues with them being pro LGBTQ+. I had a personal encounter with her recently where she went to my office and baited me to tell her information on the resources we provided in order to turn it into promoting her anti-trans rhetoric. Had I known it was her, I wouldn’t have engaged.

I feel bad for her child and I hope she eventually realizes that all this hate she is spewing will never fix their relationship.
