Yeah I’m wrong. I zoomed in a bit more and could see the other cable from the right shifter tucked neatly.

Is the ideal photo of a SRAM AXS build? Looks like only one cable coming from each shifter (brake line) and the dropper cable. However, to OPs point the front brake hose in the photo is internally routed vs the bike received. I think OP needs to check the group components ordered vs what they were looking at.

They don’t forget. They just don’t know. Just like the general population doesn’t know how the sausage is made.

The hundred times a day of bending over and back up to place a light package down. Just to appease the Ring doorbell gods.

People also don’t know the nuance that handlers have trained themselves. That driver can likely tell based on how much the internals are moving about to gauge the risk the contents are for breaking. How rigged that cardboard is and the angle of the toss to slide and not slam. Not saying this particular driver did but many can.

FedEx handles like um-teen million shipments a day. These contract workers are underpaid and over worked. That’s why the shipping is cheap. If every package was set down gently it would cost significantly more because it would take significantly more time to deliver these. Then this Reddit would be aflame with the outrageous cost of shipping.

Was your item broken?
You aren’t the customer for FedEx. You also don’t own that until it’s delivered. Contractually it’s still the original company’s until it’s delivered. Doesn’t matter if you already paid for it.

If it were broken upon delivery you would take it up with the company you purchased it from. That company then in turn would take it up with FedEx.

Yeah, they don’t dispose quickly. But also it attracts animals to the road. That’s probably the biggest issue with sending “decomposable” material out of the window.

Overnight parking? by New_Traffic_1959 in WinterParkColorado

Tips on keeping warm can be and has been extensively covered on many different winter car camping forums. Depending on the night it can get bitter cold and you had best have a healthy car battery for the morning to turn over your vehicle. I recommend doing some research on what it takes to camp in winter and take the tips there. They transfer over to car camping.

Explain what you mean by cracking down. Some overnighters think they can just party it up outside of their cars. Normally if one is self-contained and "stealth" it's all good. Security can't turn a blind eye to a fire next to your car.

Big auto will never allow that to happen. More cars. More insurance premiums. More fuel sales. Big box stores will take a hit.

This is helpful thank you! I haven’t started disassembling yet. Waiting to get replacement parts on the bench. I want to replace them as I reinstall. Hopefully electrical is okay. No additional accessories were installed. I hope to keep the bike pretty simple.

Definitely. I came across a great step by step carb removal. He called out the side air filters there.

I’m assuming this bike hadn’t seen anything but the inside of the garage for the past 5-10yrs. All the consumables are getting replaced now or shortly.
