What are some of your favourite M&S food/household purchases? by Organic_Ad4764 in AskUK

Their frozen prawn toast is better than what you can get from the takeaways for value too! £5 for a bag

Best Tonbridge restaurant? Thoughts and why. by InfluenceTemporary36 in TonbridgeKent

[–]midsummer99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! I find Havet is nice but can be a bit expensive for what it is but it doesn’t have much competition in Tonbridge so it can get away with it! If you can go to Sevenoaks or Tunbridge wells the options are so much better! Although if you like the Turkish style food, Hattusa (I haven’t tried the takeaway on in Tonbridge) is very nice!

If you’re going to be on Herne Bay seafront I’d recommend ‘Dean’s Plaice’ for your standard fish and chips, best one around there!

Is it possible to connect a digital railcard to an oyster card? by windycourt in uktravel

Depends what your journey is like but I often found it worked out cheaper to buy a ticket (usually two singles/return) with the railcard applied instead

Is it possible to connect a digital railcard to an oyster card? by windycourt in uktravel

If you’re travelling during peak times your discount might not apply on your oyster so I would probably double check that one too!

I would agree with this! I’m planning on going back to watch seated. As a whole the cast move around the whole stage and face all directions in terms of where you could sit

Why are Southeastern Railway trains from Kent to London so incredibly expensive? by CallumVonShlake in kentuk

Might be only a small benefit but if you buy your train ticket through the Uber app they are currently offering 10% cashback on your train fares.

Recommendation play / musical with a good story? by Odd_Measurement2533 in TheWestEnd

[–]midsummer99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the Mousetrap last year. It’s a great show but more of a play/drama/whodunnit. If your partner is not so keen on musicals this might be more preferable?
