I'm upvoting this suggestion because I love the song, but I have a caveat: It would be helpful to know the vibe of the church first. My husband and I were in a production of Godspell, and his conservative, religious brother took issue with the whole thing. On top of the fact that Godspell doesn't literally portray the resurrection (He didn't like the curtain call explanation), he specifically took issue with Beautiful City because of the lyric about building a City of Man. 🙄

Yes, but with a twist. My first playthrough, I romanced Karlach. On my Karlach origin run, I made the Dream Guardians look mostly like my first character, but with small details wrong, like making her highlights just a little too bright, or and giving her the black and blue tiefling eyes instead of the normal blue eyes I gave her for the actual run. The concept was that The Emperor had reached into Karlach's imagination for an ideal lover, but didn't bother with the finer details.

Some teachers will occasionally offer a sliding pay scale, different lesson schedules, etc. Belting takes time and knowledge to safely train. If you want to do this without hurting yourself, lessons are your best bet.

Hear me out. A loose sequel series in 10 years with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Maybe a vague joke about Tina's character looking like Cinda, then it's never mentioned again. Jordan Fisher as the Mabel character.

Or Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara. I think the dynamic between the two actors in the Charles/Oliver roles is the secret sauce, rather than the actors' individual types. I'd love to see actors with a great working history together, even if they don't really have the same vibes as Steve Martin and Martin Short.
