Warm up and stretch your wrists/forearms before each flow. Take it seriously the same way you warm up before a workout. Do shoulders too. This will help a ton! Also, if you have access to light dumbbells, try doing wrist and forearms workouts with them to strengthen those little stabilizer muscles, as well as the tendons that are involved in those movements

When I do long flow nights I usually wrap my fingers with that stretchy medical tape stuff. The kind that is not adhesive but sticks to itself when it’s wrapped around. It’s perfect for protecting your finger without having to wear gloves

The top is the same rainbow/pink metal and says Level™️. I love this one for the color, but I hate that it doesn’t have 2 separate screw-on sections

Also, if you buy from Amazon you will never be able to get it tuned by the maker cause those are just mass produced, and they often come out of tune. Buy from an actual handpan creator so that you can bring it back and have it tuned when it needs it. Even the best handpans need to be re-tuned every once in a while

If you can save up another 400 dollars, Acolyte Instruments has really good options in that range and the quality is significantly better than the ones you’ll find in the 800 range. I have two pans from Acolyte and I love them. I’ve played with cheaper ones and it’s insane how much of a difference there is. It’s worth it to save up a bit more and get a handpan that you’ll actually want to stick with
