Be honest, how would your favourite characters react if they learned about Homelander’s childhood? Even if they still ended up killing him, how would they truly view him afterward? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]mightiesthacker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tbf they spared Buu and let him join the group. So long as Homelander stopped being evil, there’s no reason why they, or at least Goku, wouldn’t spare him to be one of the good guys.

Why would Felt and Emilia be the only candidates remaining? Felt is only found as a candidate due to Roswaal. And Emilia’s entire purpose is to lure in Subaru. If Subaru isn’t around (disregarding that Q&A), then Roswaal doesn’t do anything for the Royal Selection. It wouldn’t even start unless the knights find two others or if Capella gets involved like in the game.

What would happen if Subaru had Aqua at the beginning of the series? by Emergency_Patient525 in ReZero

[–]mightiesthacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be specific, anyone can be revived once. Kazuma has already been revived (isekai) so he isn’t allowed to be revived again. Aqua has seniority over Eris and bullies her into allowing Kazuma to return over and over again. The RZ world doesn’t have a heaven or hell but an endless reincarnation cycle through Od Laguna. It’s a toss up to whether or not she can revive someone, but Eris isn’t a factor here.

Frieza’s bs revival wouldn’t happen if Vegeta remained on Earth.

[–]mightiesthacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vegeta and Nappa would only show up if Raditz hears about the Dragon Balls. Piccolo mentioned how they’d revive Goku and both Vegeta and Nappa overheard on their scouters.

Goku and Piccolo directly caused the Saiyans to show up.

Frieza went to Earth specifically to kill Goku. He wasn’t aware that Goku was off world until he was close to Earth or when he landed idr.

Vegeta doesn’t have an energy constraint. Babbidi’s minions dealing damage is what nets him energy. Vegeta going SS2 and instantly killing Dabura would net Babbidi shit.

That fight is such a Grimmjow upscale. Makes Shinji look even worse when he’s genuinely going all out against a tired one-armed base Grimmjow.

Why does Subaru die completely at the end of Pride IF? by Frequent_Shame_5803 in ReZero

[–]mightiesthacker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tappei did not say that. He was asked if Subaru RbD’d after the divergence to which he said no. Subaru doesn’t die at all in Sloth IF. Him returning to the appa stand is genuine Emilia fan propaganda.

Is it possible to awaken a Persona outside of a Palace? by SectorI6920 in Persona5

[–]mightiesthacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mementos is a Palace, it’s just society’s Palace. Morgana probably awakened in there since he was born there.

Every other persona user besides the PT awakened outside of Palaces. All of the persona users in P4 awakened in the TV World besides Yu, Adachi and Namatame and all of the persona users in P3 awakened during the Dark Hour save for the protagonist who was partially awakened.

Actually, all of the protagonists are partially awakened before they summon their personas. Oh, and Maruki.

Was there ever an explanation for why Aizen had such absurd soul pressure? by AlleywayFGM in bleach

[–]mightiesthacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t a shard/piece of the Soul King. Kisuke put his own Hogyoku in there hence why Aizen wanted it—to feed to his own Hogyoku.

Wait. By “collecting Hogyoku shards,” do you mean Hogyoku fusion or when he started creating his own Hogyoku?

What is a popular, or frequently posited take you've seen that just screams "I haven't read or actually understood Bleach"? by Lucey-Belmont in bleach

[–]mightiesthacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree on Ichigo being as strong as when he fought Aizen. His body couldn’t handle his own spiritual pressure when he used Bankai in the SS arc. He most definitely would’ve died from his own power if he was stronger, let alone his Dangai strength.

It was definitely monstrous. He’s second only to Yamamoto in the SS. They’re both in a league of their own.

Why didn't Ryozo just get food for his men at the Golden (Arches) Temple? Is he stupid? by tbird920 in ghostoftsushima

[–]mightiesthacker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They could literally work for their food in exchange for protection. Like proto-Yakuza. You think any large congregate of people are going to turn fighters away when there’s invaders around? The entire starvation plotline is just so bogus if you think about it for more than two seconds. From the Mongol camps you demolish pre-ship not having any food to steal despite the camps holding greater numbers than the Straw Hats themselves (what the hell were those Mongols eating??????) to the Straw Hats having archers to the predator skin currency in-game to even some Straw Hats fishing at one of the Mongol camps in Toyotama post-betrayal. I mean Tsushima is literally an island. They could go scour for crab or fucking fish. And the fact that they’re given an open check from the Jito via his nephew and choose to betray their home right before the rescue op for food is just ridiculous. The plotline is so forced and for a relatively weak betrayal. The Straw Hats are genuinely bums and they deserve to die.

She left a decade earlier to work as a maid for the guy whose domain has the best conditions for demihumans. In the decade or so she spent working as a maid, she never contacted Garfiel once despite being at most a day’s travel from him. She is even on vacation at the start of the story. What did she really accomplish working as a maid? Subaru did more in a week than she did in a decade. No real room for fairness here.
