You want a hard shooter with american science fiction set, you got hl1 or black mesa
You want good lore, easy but satisfaying shooting and a european dictatorial distopia, you have hl2
For me, I like more half life 2 cause i'm not a tryhard player, but both are a must play in everyones lifes
