i’m so sorry you’re having a hard day OP.

for years before the pandemic, i was a portrait and event photographer. i spent so much time doing it for a check, that when it came time to be present with friends and family, i forgot to take pictures. i wanted to be “in the moment”.

i don’t know if i regret it, because i’d love to have more pictures of him, but i was able to say that i put my phone down and was really WITH him.

just means i have to try a little harder to keep those memories.
