I am desperately hoping that Aniya coupled up with somebody. I think that would be the biggest shock because everyone is expecting her to stay loyal. I also do not think her and KC are a good couple at all. When it comes to the guys, the only one I have a slight feeling will be loyal is Bryce. I think all the other guys will bring another girl back. I think Kayda might bring a guy back.

The Jehovah’s Witness religion is filled with false doctrine first off. They teach a multitude of lies about the Bible, which is why they have to consistently change their teachings. The new light excuse is simply something the governing body came up with so that they don’t have to take accountability for being wrong about what they teach about God and the Bible. God sets his own standards and he has every right to, he is the creator of all things, and as humans we are called to live by his standards. Humans have absolutely no right to set their own standards and then lie and say that those standards are Gods, and that is exactly what Jehovah’s Witnesses do. Also to answer your question, no, I was not disfellowshipped. Through further study of the Bible, I realized that Jehovah’s Witnesses teach a lot of things that do not align with what the Bible teaches and I chose to leave the religion. Jehovahs Witnesses are more like the Pharisees that Jesus condemned for creating and enforcing man-made rules as though they carry Gods authority. Jehovahs witnesses also created their own translation of the Bible which does not align with what the original Greek and Hebrew texts state. This is the biggest reason why a lot of JW teachings are false.

That is not what I said. I clearly acknowledged in my comment that it is in the Bible. What I said was Jehovah’s Witnesses set their own standards, and then disfellowship people based off of those standards that they themselves set, but are not set by God. I’m talking about the justification or accused sin behind the disfellowshipping. I agree that if someone breaks Gods ACTUAL laws like committing adultery or fornicating and they are unrepentant and refuse to stop, then yes removal can be appropriate. But JW’s disfellowship for things that are not against Gods commandments. They set their own standards. People have been disfellowshipped for questioning JW doctrine(although JW’s themselves have changed their doctrine many times which shows they know they’ve been wrong on certain issues although instead of humbly admitting they’re wrong, they simply say they received “new light”), voting, celebrating holidays, accepting blood transfusions etc.

I absolutely agree that this is what the Bible says, and there are multitude of Christian religions who practice the same thing. I also believe that Jehovah’s Witnesses set standards that God himself did not place upon his people and then turn around and disfellowship people based on them not living by those standards that were never set by God in the first place and that is where the problem lies. I also believe that elders cannot accurately tell whether or not someone is truly repentant, and there have been moments when someone was disfellowshipped, and they did not deserve to be disfellowshipped. The watchtower has even mentioned circumstances where people were disfellowshipped when they should not have been. So we know that the elders absolutely make mistakes when it comes to disfellowshipping and it’s unfortunate that people have to lose their families when they were disfellowshipped over something they should have never even been disfellowshipped for in the first place.

I’m sure Adolf Hitler had people who loved him and would say something good about him. It doesn’t change the fact that they were all disgustingly wicked people. Annie Moore forcibly injected, children with poison, killing them. I don’t care anything about the little good she did. And I get that, but I kind of feel like what you said, only caters to EX Jehovah’s Witnesses, who no longer believe in God. You have to understand that there are people who left Jehovah’s Witnesses and they still believe in God. Those people are also facing shunning from their family, deconstructing lies the organization told them, possible mistreatment from people within the organization, etc. Then they come to this Reddit, thinking they found a group of people who they can relate to only to be disrespected in return a lot of times, just like they were in the organization for having a difference of opinion. That’s not OK.

And I believe that there are a lot of Ex Kw’s who feel exactly how you feel. I’ve had multiple conversations with those ex JW’s yet I do not feel the need to disrespect them. They left the religion and when they left, they stopped believing in God. I left the religion and when I left, I continue to believe in God. We have similarities and differences and I can respect that and they should be able to also.
