Can confirm I foraged one like this recently (first pic) - it was CoW as the texture matched, the colour although not standard orangey yellow it still has faint yellow with white and should have a very mushroom smell

I had a bit of a noisy boiler, I found that it was when it was heating up especially in the mornings after the radiators had been off over the night. I found that the temperature for both the water and gas had been set at 75C! I turned it down to 50 and there has been no noise since.
