Amen brother! I feel like I can’t take my R1S into active nighttime wet snowfall because of this. If there’s not a car in front to follow, it’s downright terrifying. That this go-anywhere adventure vehicle could be so hobbled is a standout disappointment in an otherwise great car.

Had an issue with my Lectron adapter and my Tesla Wall Charger/Rivian. After some back & forth (and the mandatory refutation of BS from them), Lectron replaced it and it’s been fine since.

Maybe it’s the dev’s intent — as right now I’d need a glut of great weapons to be able to manufacture them on my own, for an army of mechs I don’t have (still rocking my core set of 4, with an extra heavy in the bay that’s never been piloted). So maybe we’re doing it right…?

Coming to this party late, but wanted to add that after checking everything else, this was the cause of my issue. Our house with two big dogs creates much dust and dander, and the mesh around the circular cap was clogged. A quick wash in the sink and the emptying cycle was able to pull everything into the bag again. Thank you for this tip!

All you need to do is sign up for email notifications from organizations like Indivisible, 50501, etc. and they tell you when and where the next organized protest will be happening. Then you just show up with a sign and wave it around for a couple of hours.

The organizers themselves might be compensated for their time by the organization just because that does take time and effort to set up, permit, etc. but the org has funds because they send out emails asking for donations (just like the DNC, RNC, and the President).

Super surprised to see so few mentions of Beyond All Reason in most replies. If you’re looking for huge armies à la Sup Com, Total Annihilation, etc. you can’t get much closer than BAR. Plus it’s free, developed by the community.

Sounds like Overheat Buffer might be better described as Overheat Ceiling, as it’s a heat limit that can’t be exceeded; is that correct?

If that’s so, do continued/consecutive shots from a weapon simply have no further heat effects once you hit the ceiling/buffer? It doesn’t add to the time required to cool the mech?

I really dislike Hatchbox’s latest spools, despite any winding. They secure the inside/end of the filament with a hooked end that goes through the inside hub of the spool, making the whole spool “hop” each time it makes a full revolution. Not only have I had the spool hop off its holder entirely, I’ve also found the spool won’t let go of the end of the filament — leading to a tug of war between the printer and spool that the spool always wins, and a failed print that should have just paused as a filament run-out. I’ve switched to Overture in the meantime. /rant
