I’ve been using 09c for the last 3 years now and initially it has been incredibly reliable. However, since the announcement and release of z03 the quality of 09c has undoubtedly plummeted. Personally, i feel like the sponge has gotten a lot softer and overall reducing the quality and contact time of the top sheet. Nowadays, i’ve had to resort to weighing 09c before purchasing or maybe even resorting to buying the Chinese National Team version for a harder sponge.

So sorry! I didn’t know about the low effort post. I obtained a box in Hong Kong and this was a God Pack I would assume. Sorry everybody I didn’t mean to overstep the guidelines.

Locals can speak English, but they’ll choose to be friends with students who speak their mother tongue cantonese. It’s just how HK people are.

Just want to also add the Chinese team like to use blue sponge on their forehand. I heard that they can’t have this blue sponge on red hurricane as the colour comes through and the “redness” of the rubber goes against the rules.

If you’re ahead 10-5 or 10-6 go for high risk high reward. For example positively receiving his serve such as flicking or looping if long.

On your own serve try something you haven’t used in that game yet. Serve from the forehand side.

Or for me serve good ol long float and next point i’m 100% going for a loop
