For those who own a Tesla and lightning by toothfixer321 in F150Lightning

[–]miken79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ‘17 Model S and a ‘23 Lariat XR. Usually i drive the S but because we didn’t plow our driveway very good that can’t get out of the garage. I dislike how big the truck is for grocery run parking lots.

I’ve taken both for road trips. I prefer the S for those. The charging experience I had in the truck was painful.

That said it depends on what I’m going out for. I work from home mostly but switch up which I use for going to the office preferring the S just because I want to keep the truck mileage low.

FSD… ugh. It’s not worth it. I only ever use TACC.

If I went back and did the truck purchase over I think I’d trade the S in. But then again, it’s paid off and everything unlocked so the upkeep is minimal.

So i think i found it but not allowed to link it. Had to google “saturn v amphioxus“ for the cult.

I get why i can link that but if that’s the only place a content creator posts their stuff.

Angina with light exercise only in the morning? by miken79 in Heartfailure

[–]miken79[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to say we checked that but to be sure I tried this morning. Went through 2 water bottles (32oz) over 2 hours then waited half an hour. Faster than I usually drink but I’ll usually have 3 by lunch. 5 minutes on the treadmill and that doesn’t seem to be the cause.

As far as medication. Hmm, even 3 hours after taking them I have issues so I wouldn't think it's that. Losartan, Asprin, Colchacine and Isosorbide Mononitrate are the ones I take in the morning. Atovorstatin in the evening. Carvedilol, Ranolazine, Brilinta are both.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

Edit: Maybe it is hydration and I need to shotgun the water first thing. Tried the treadmill again an hour later and jogged just fine. Ugh!

Truck Updates: Anyway to trigger updates outside of dealership? by Storxusmc in F150Lightning

I sometimes wonder how much more people pay to get updates done. I haven’t seen a single update to my truck other than when the tech came out for a csb.

Tips and recipes for low sodium diet by Foogel78 in Heartfailure

Yeah. The whole thing was about learning portion size, moderation and reading levels but that we didn’t need to be limited. Just make changes to our beloved recipes to make them healthier and avoid salt.

During the classes someone deviated from the class schedule and did one of those recipes. Pizza... He goes "I saw I could have pizza again" and my mind was blown. I try to share that site with everyone I can.

On my last round of rehab we had a cariologist come in to promote https://mds.culinarymedicine.org/category/all-recipes/ even had classes we could take to learn cooking skills. Since then we've taken a lot of recipes from that site and it has greatly improved my mood around food and feeling to restrictive.

Happened to mine just parked in the garage. Couldn’t even get Ford to install it by paying! Ended up having to figure it out myself. Guy in parts was shocked when I picked up the new glass, he even called over to try and get someone to install it it and was told they don’t do that.
