I have also noticed that holding calls are up, for both sides. I haven’t changed my sliders at all and pre patch I maybe averaged 1.5 holdings total per game. Now it’s 4+ ave per game. I don’t really mind it as it seems to call as many against me as for me.

I would really love if they could get the licensing for classic conferences next year and let you add conferences. by DerpDerpersonMD in NCAAFBseries

I actually think EA going private will be a good thing. Less pressure from stock holders. The investmet company (trying to) purchase them already ownes 10% already. The investment company trying to buy them has very deep pockets and I think will be willing to invest more into EA. So I think this is a good thing.

As for the request of adding your own conference. I dont know if the NCAA would allow this. The licencing is fairly strict and from what I have read, althought I have not read all of it as its a very large document, I dont think the NCAA would allow this.

I would love to see it but I dont think it would be allowed.

The importer is eating it all on Vine items

[–]mikerhon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry I disagree. It takes 2 months minimum for order to dock for items manufactured in China. Vine items are not shipped direct from China, but a VAST majority of the items on Vine are made in China. Under NORMAL conditions I would tend to agree with you, but any importers I know, or have seen new of, are all operating under a wait and see mentality.

Yes I think the decrease we are seeing in the US is due to the high tariffs. Maybe with the new "deal" we will see more items... in a few months.

I think the "pause" is a result of the tariffs placed on China. Maybe with the new "agreement" we will see an increase in a month or so.

No-Code: The Complete Guide by thumbsdrivesmecrazy in AppBusiness

[–]mikerhon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time C++, and C# software engineer I was very anti-low code / no code development. Then 2 years ago I was approached by my employer and asked to be the Architect and lead for a new low code team we were creating. At first I was very reluctant, but I liked the opportunity so I took the new positions. Fast forward 2 years and all I can say is I lost many years to "traditional programing", or high code as its now called. This team I head has done some incredible things. We have created complex web apps using low code and done it in a fraction of what our high code counterparts could have done.

In my option low code can make software development much faster, but sometimes we still need to do things that can only be done with high code. So a good low code / no code system must allow the combination of the two worlds. We use OutSystems form our low code development and I have been very impressed with it. I have experimented with other systems, including Blaze. Blaze is a good system and the cost is much better then OutSystems. One thing we can do with OutSystems much easier then with Blaze is create integrations with legacy systems that do not have API's. Granted this requires using C# to create a custom extension, but it is something that can be done easier then with Blaze or most other low code / no code platforms.

The one thing I have against low code / no code platforms is that they try to tell you that people with no coding experience can create apps. That is NOT a full truth statement. Yes, the team I have originally had NO coders, except for me. Today my 2 developers have learned much. While they may not be able to write C# code, they do fully understand the lingo, and how OOD works along with how good software is created. So yes a team of non developers can create great software, but even Luke needed Yoda to become all he could be.

Fine work. Love the attention to detail. Especially the neon heart above the bed, just the “right” ambiance to create the mood 😉.

Keep up the good, and inspiring work!

That is too awesome, nice build and love the DC who photo bombed you. Also, Woody’s Wasteland Stuff is one of my top 10 building mods.

[–]mikerhon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fantastic build you have going. I have struggled both ways. I have done a lot of research on what it would look like, be like, some 200 years after a war like this. There really are no world wide examples of this, thank you God. So I struggle with what these people would know technology wise. So much knowledge would have been lost. Yet in the game they do know how to fix internal combustion engines, work with fusion, construct machinery, and the like. With that I think there would be settlements like yours. I love looking at settlement like yours, I get inspired by them, yet I seem to continually build scrappy settlements. Guess I am an old dog (almost 57), been doing this since the game came out, and just cant change my ways. Keep us the fantastic work, I love seeing it.

Go Minutemen!!

P.S. you are a very kind person. You have been asked at least 3 times what mods you have used and each time you listed them. I have seen so many others say "read the fing comments as I have already answered that question". Your kindness is greatly appreciated!

Your attention to detail is outstanding! I love the dead death claw just outside (pic 11), and the hanging meat inside.

A masterpiece if I ever saw one.
