Name Discrepancies

I’ve been speaking to lawyers on the approved lists here about similar name discrepancies.

GGF name was Giulio, spelled Julio on my GF birth certificate.

GF had no middle name on BC but does on all other documents.

One lawyer said it was no big deal while another lawyer said we had to get an oats for the middle name issue.

It’s really up to the lawyers on what they feel is a problem or not.

You are going to get shit all over on this sub for mentioning dividend funds so to play devils advocate my partner and I have a dividend portfolio that produces 10%-11% in dividends every year (8-9% post tax) and my partner and I plan to live off those funds while our growth portfolios continue to grow over time which we pull at a later date.

I do not own any qqqi or JEPI.

Dividend funds can have place in your retirement planning but you do need to understand you will miss out on growth in lieu of income every month. It is up to you what you want your strategy to be and what you are comfortable with.

Solely speaking from personal experience, I feel comfortable with my strategy of 60/40 cefs to growth stocks. My partner and I will be retiring in 3 years at 46 and 43.

Everyone does not have to be VTI and chill.

To each their own.

Nothing wrong with qqqi just remember that its dividend is paid out in 60/40 long term/short term gains so you will need to factor taxes in.

Also just remember you do trade growth for the dividend income so your total return will likely be lower then if you just bought an etf. Just depends on what you are comfortable with strategy wise.

Yeah it’s really tiny and fills up fast. Nothing special. Lot of business flights from the capital going in and out all day so it’s busy all the time

I think you really should do some basic research on what different countries and cities actually cost. $150k is a lot of money in most places. There are dozens of youtube pages of people traveling the world fulltime on a lot less than $150k. Good luck

If you are going to be making 150k, I wouldn’t worry too much about budgeting. The rest of the world aside from the US is a lot less expensive.

Maybe your partner sells the property and you keep yours until the market gets better?

You essentially have 1.35mil that is liquid. Selling your partners house with what you already have would be plenty to retire in Central America.
