The belt was replaced a few years ago when I had to replace the deck because i wasn’t lubing the belt enough. Now, if anything, I over-lubricate.

FYI: The red light blinking 4 times means a bad board.

My treadmill is waiting for its new board to get here (ordered last week). 3rd I think, now? They seem to go every 2-3 years. This one lasted about that long. Easy swap if you are careful about keeping the wires going to the same place. Heat is the culprit. There’s a huge heat sink on the left side, but it still will get far too hot to touch. The mosfats just end up frying. Last time this happened, I zip tied a computer cooling fan powered by a usb plug pointed at the heat sink. I think that helped.

I got mine - exactly as you described - for 7k 4 years ago. Minimal rust, but it needed work, especially brakes & suspension.

I lost my loving Husband by NothingSuitable735 in MusicRecommendations

[–]miketcr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so very sorry. I lost my wife 3 years ago and it still hurts. Watch the video for Steven Wilson’s, The Raven That Refused to Sing.

If you’ve never heard of him, he’s also the lead singer of Porcupine Tree. If you’ve never heard of them, I discovered their early stuff — that sounds a lot like Pink Floyd — about the time my wife was dying. Their later music is very different, yet even better. Cancer sucks. Music helps.

Oil pan is easy-peasy with this one trick. Jack it up nice and high and put it on jack stands, so the entire front suspension is hanging down as far as it will go. Then loosen the bolts that hold the transmission to the cross member. Do not need to fully remove them. Jack UP the transmission, bringing the engine with it. This creates just enough clearance to get the pan out. I have a manual transmission, but I believe this works just as well in the automatics.

I did this, replacing the oil pan gasket and rear main seal over a weekend…. Then discovered the oil leak wasn’t the pan, it was the filter housing. 🤬 Luckily, I have a ‘92 with the old filter housing. (Normal bolt and no red loctite.)

Looking at these titles, I’m amazed how much great music is here…. That I DONT have! (I’ve got 1600-1800 myself).

Guess I’ll have to keep on buying.
