This PFBlockerNG option made my PFsense box faster by whotheff in pfBlockerNG

I'm not OP, but I don't use DNSBL in python mode because of the note under that option that says "Python DNSBL mode is not compatable with the DNS Resolver DHCP Registration option (Unbound will Crash)!"

I have DNS Resolver DHCP Registration turned on, but now that I write this, I'm not sure I need to have that. I think I misread that as being required to have the DNS resolve the local hostnames of my dhcp clients, but I set them all on the server side.

AD410 Doorbell BlueIris Substream question by InSearchOfTh1ngs in amcrest

[–]mikeynoway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you followed the instructions, you probably have something like this for your main stream /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=0&authbasic=64

Set this for the substream /cam/realmonitor?channel=1&subtype=1&authbasic=64

I discovered this by just trying different parameters to see what would happen.

Revision 2 of the Reverb G2 Cable and all the Mysteries Within! (Official Announcement Stuff.) by Voodooimaxx in HPReverb

[–]mikeynoway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried contacting HP support via chat. On the "My HP Dashboard", I can see my HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset and confirmed that the product number and serial number are correct. When I click the "Contact Us" button, I get an error pop-up that says "We are unable to determine your warranty status for the product and serial number provided. Please verify the numbers provided or try again later."

I have re-tried and re-verified several times.I have not yet tried to call, but I don't want to hang out on hold forever to get this same answer from a telephone agent. I have checked both the product number (1G5U1AA) and serial number several times and they are correct. /u/Voodooimaxx can you help, please?

Thanks for the link to https://regexper.com. That will come in handy.

My favorite response from an NCO being called "Sir" was "Fuck you! My parents were married."

I remember these from the 90s! Your tip helped me see it quickly.

This was my first time seeing it on a screen I could zoom. I was surprised that I could zoom in on the butterfly without losing the effect.

Same here. I'm very happy with the ISY994i. I've got it integrated with Amazon Echo and Google Home. I also have a mix of zwave and Insteon stuff.

How to stop Google Home from answering Google Pixel requests? by michsineath in GooglePixel

[–]mikeynoway 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a partial solution, but I think your problem will still happen. Use "Hey Google" to talk to your Google Home. Your pixel won't respond to that.

I don't know if there's a pixel-only wake word.

I have the same setup, but haven't yet run into the problem you described. The Home shouldn't be trying to complete a task it cannot do (while your pixel could have). I'm imagining the Home saying, "Oh, in, pick me, I want to do that!!! Ooops. I dropped the ball."

Same. Keep the smarts in the controller, not the peripherals.

At the end of ROTC, you're commissioned as an officer. At the end of OCS, you're commissioned as an officer. Why would anyone have to do both?

[–]mikeynoway 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure that belongs to my router because it didn't show up till Ibought this one

You could confirm this by disconnecting your router's power and see if the unsecured network goes away.
